The story of Attack on Titan revolves around a civilization that exists between three walls. It is the last known spot where humans still reside, according to local knowledge. Its residents have been indoctrinated to think that humanity was on the verge of extinction over a century ago due to the appearance of humanoid giants known as Titans, who attack and eat humans on sight.
