Falcon and The Winter Soldier: Sharon Carter On The Run
When Falcon and the Winter Soldier series was first announced, we knew that those people from Captain America’s past would make an entry again; little did we know it will turn out to be this interesting.
The Beloved Niece
One among the most expected one was Sharon Carter, the niece of Peggy Carter; the nurse/S.H.I.E.L.D agent who lives across the hall from Steve Rogers; the one that kissed Steve Rogers in the Civil War, wait I am not done yet, The one that helped the fugitives escape in the Civil War.
Phew, that was long. Okay, unlike Peggy Carter, Sharon Carter was ready to bend some rules. Sharon Carter will appear on Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but it looks like we won’t be seeing her as a new agent of S.W.O.R.D. Instead, be seeing her as a fugitive on the run.
Fugitive Carter
What?? Will explain, wait! According to Marvel’s merchandise for Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Sharon Carter is seen wearing a hoodie with a “Wanted” tag on her forehead.

A Tokyo based Marvel Pop-Up store Tweeted the stickers and notebook and merch for the Falcon and the Winter Soldier. As the series was initially planned to release this time of year previously, like the Eternals, the merchandise prepared for the release sale is now leaking here and there and giving us a glimpse of the phase 4 products we are longing to see.
Why is Sharon Carter on the run?
This means only one thing, Sokovia Accords are still in order. Sharon Carter is in trouble for helping Captain America, Winter Soldier, and Falcon by giving them their gears after stealing it from her organization.
This also goes to show that there is no way the government or its authorities accept Winter Soldier or Falcon to carry on the mantle of the Avengers or do any good (like that’s going to stop them). They probably want them in prison.
Juicy Plot
This makes the plot of F.A.T.W.S. even more interesting. Now, who wouldn’t like being hated by the government’s big shots doing nothing but yelling at the Avengers for saving the world.
Now that Steve Rogers has become old and possibly dead (oh my heart), we can see what happens to Sharon Carter as she accepts the fate of her new fugitive life.
With S.W.O.R.D at play, there are chances Nick Furry will help Sharon, Falcon, and Bucky Barnes, but we don’t know how things will play out. All we can do is sit and wait for the series to release.
It’s going to be a long wait, but it will definitely be worth it!
