The US president and other officials talk about the abduction of Japanese citizens. The president is reluctant to do it, but he is persuaded that even a single sorcerer can generate enough energy to make them self-sufficient and solve multiple problems. Cyrus goes on to say that they cannot let China and Russia get ahead of them.

Geto claims that November will be a good time to abduct them because that is when they will gather. The president is concerned that other countries will attack the Japanese people if their secret is revealed. Following that, they discuss Gojo, and Garry queries whether he is an exceptional case among sorcerers. Geto agrees but says he will seal him in November, making him unable to move.
