Kat Dennings’ Darcy Lewis to Return in WandaVision
The intern who had an intern is returning back to the MCU, and no, not in Thor Love and Thunder but WandaVision.
The Intern is Back!
Yes, you read that right. Kat Dennings’ Darcy Lewis, the intern of Erick Selvig and Jane Foster, is returning to the MCU.
When Natalie Portman, who portrays Jane Foster, left the MCU, so did her sidekick without any storyline for her. But Portman is now back on Thor Love and Thunder‘s cast, and heavens know she didn’t just return for a regular role but the Female Mighty Thor.
Science Trio
Since Portman returned, fans were curious if the trio will again gang up together and solve extraterrestrial occurrence puzzles on Earth, like before. But fans got something they never expected. Entertainment Tonight interviewed Kat Dennings, and she accepted that she would be seen in WandaVision.
She kept saying, “I don’t think I can answer that” for most of the questions. Let’s just say Marvel has a way of keeping its actors quiet. When asked what her role was in the series, obviously that came under the need to know the category, and she couldn’t tell us.
Not Returning to Thor
Fans became immediately curious, so did the interviewer asked if she is returning in Thor Love and Thunder. Dennings denied that and said she hasn’t been in contact with Marvel for Thor Love and Thunder. Maybe she was, and she was strictly warned not to drop even a hint about it. I mean, come on, WandaVision has been under development for so long only now, within days before the release, we get to know Darcy is returning. So, yeah, you figure out how this will be too…
Darcy Lewis the Phenomenon
Darcy Lewis, to those who have no idea who she is, is a Political Science graduate from Culver University who was the only one who applied to do an internship under Eric Selvig. She then becomes an assistant for Jane Foster.
She helps Jane and Eric in their quest to understand the Bifrost Bridge. She quickly becomes kinda the best friend of Jane Foster and consoles her when Thor doesn’t return. She made appearances in Thor (2011) and Thor: The Dark World.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
According to some fans, Kat Dennings might be returning as A SWORD agent. I mean, it’s not like Fury does not recruit anyone associated with any Avenger.
Either she is coming in both as a SWORD agent or an employee or having a different role in WandaVision alone.
Anyway, we would love to have her back on the screen. After all, she gave the nickname Mew-Mew for Mjolnir, and we can’t forget her that easily.
