So, When The Thor 4 Is Expected to Hit The Theatres ?

Sources have confirmed that a fourth Thor movie of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is going to hit the big screen much sooner than expected.

As an extra surprise, it has also been revealed that Taika Waititi, the director of the much-acclaimed latest installation of the Thor franchise, Thor: Ragnarok, is all set to direct the upcoming movie as well.

With the production of Thor 4, it is believed that Thor would become the original of the Marvel superheroes and the only member of the Avengers with four movies to his credit, thus, leaving behind Iron Man and Captain America who have three movies each.

Although, the initial plan of Waititi was to direct an Akira movie with Warner Bros., as the producer, certain problems related to the script of the film ultimately delayed the production without any immediate decision on a definite postponed date.

Luckily enough for Marvel fans, Taika Waititi used this opportunity to make up his mind to focus on the fourth Thor movie. We can, therefore, expect Thor 4 to be around the corner.

It is well-known news by now, that Marvel Studios is packed with several exciting upcoming films that are scheduled to be released in a line in the next few years.

The dates must be marked on the calendar: May 1, 2020; November 6, 2020; February 12, 2021; May 7, 2021; November 5, 2021; February 18, 2022; May 6, 2022. Black Widow, the first film made on this original Avenger, has since late been baiting on the fans’ excitement.

Shang Chi and The Eternals, on the other hand, have supposedly booked the theatre slots on November 6, 2020, and February 12, 2021, respectively.

Excitement is also surging over the expected and much-anticipated sequels to the movies like Black Panther, Doctor Strange, and Captain Marvel.

However, the dates in the month of May, as it has been observed, have always been reserved for the biggest hits that Marvel Studios can surely count on.

While Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 was heard to have previously been kept for the May 2020 date.

The dilemmatic decision of Marvel Studio’s internal affair involving a stifle with the director James Gunn and subsequent peace-making with him, caused the movie to be postponed for quite some time, even having its date replaced finally with ‘Black Widow’.

Other than the sequel to Black Panther, the other sequel movies already mentioned above are unlikely to be considered of a caliber qualified for a May release.

Thor being a long-time Marvel superhero of one of the strongest characters in MCU, besides being a member of the original Avengers constituted by seven superheroes, might seem to reserve a date in May for his new movie.

But, based on the fact that two of the previous Thor movies, Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok were released on November, there is an irrefutable possibility for Thor 4 to be also released in the same month just ahead of Thanksgiving, instead of May.

To be honest, we all are excited to meet Thor back after having seen him in his strange new avatar last in Avengers: Endgame.

Only the worthy shall yield the hammer, they say. And only the worthiest fans shall survive these days excitement till the God of Thunder of MCU makes a grand appearance with his latest movie.
