The Story is about a Middle School girl named Miyo Sasaki, who has a crush on her classmate, Kento Hinode. But Hinode never pays any attention to her, even after trying everything she can to get Hinode’s attention, Miyo Discovers a Noh Mask that can transform her into a cat. To get closer to Hinode she takes that mask, not knowing what worth she’ll have to pay in return. The story takes you into a magical adventure and both feelings growing deeper for each other as the story moves forward.

The Movie has been the Winner of the Excellence Award at the 24th Japan Media Arts Festival and is a must-watch if you want to relieve stress or want to re-experience teenage school love.

Together they set off on various adventures with the Majestic Howl of course. Together, Sophie and Howl face off many dangerous battles and develop feelings for each other, without knowing that there’s a past that they shared before.

The Animation in Howl’s Moving Castle is truly a cherry on top of beautiful & unique characters and a well-written storyline. The Movie storyline is a magical sensation and is a perfect blend of romance, humor, and action that for sure will keep you thinking about what will happen next. Umi Matsuzaki is a smart, hardworking, and mature high school student who helps her grandmother with house chores to run a boarding house, to fulfill her father’s presence.

Her Father, who was a sailor, was said to have drowned but there’s no evidence of his death, he was confirmed to be dead in the Korean War and since then, Umi has been taking care of her family in his absence.

One day, when Umi and her friend were looking for a particular club in the clubhouse. They happen to meet the newspaper club members and one member of them being Shun Kazama, who is determined to save the clubhouse from being demolished by the government for the Olympic games. Shun offers Umi to help in saving the Clubhouse by spreading news in the whole school, and after some spending some time, she agrees to it, and both works to save the clubhouse from being ruined.

While their determination in saving the clubhouse remains the same, they both start developing feeling for each other.

Overall, the movie is a beautiful and heartwarming story about teenage love, and tradition and shows how every youth wants to bring change to the world and end the wars.

Both sisters moved to the countryside with their father to be close to their mother who is currently in hospital. As they explore the countryside they find a magical forest Surrounded by whimsical Creatures.

In the magical forest, they make a new friend, Totoro. With Totoro, both sisters are set on magical adventures. The Enchanting journey is both heartwarming and mysterious. As they go through the challenges of growing up the uncertainty of their mother’s health scares them.

You must watch this movie if you want to immerse yourself in your childhood and think about the times you felt blessed for having your family, friends, and loved ones.

8. Josee, the Tiger and the Fish

Josee, the Tiger and the Fish is an anime film that is full of warmth, and cute moments. It’s the type of movie that you feel complete after watching. So, it’s a must-watch movie if you want to kick your feet into the air because of its overwhelming cuteness.

The Story Follows the life of a university student, Tsuneo Suzukawa, who has a deep passion for diving and wants to study abroad. However, due to the financial crisis, he tries his best to take as many part-time jobs as he can to earn enough money for his future. One night he gets into a fateful accident and meets Kumiko prefers to be known as ‘Josee’.

She Initially Comes off as rude and childish to Tsuneo. She lives with her only grandmother. Her grandmother asks Tsuneo to be Josee’s caretaker. Firstly, he denies doing that, but after many requests from her grandmother, he accepts the offer of a part-time job to take care of Josee (as she can’t walk on her own and is paralyzed.)

Tsuneo and Josee after some time, try to understand each other problems and aspirations. Josee never got to see the outside world. So, Tsuneo decides to accompany her in exploring the wonders of the world. While Spending time together they both develop feelings for each other and also face some tragedy that’s been waiting.

Time of Eve is a thought-provoking and scientific anime movie that explores the relationship between humans and androids soon. In a world where using android housekeepers is a common thing, society strictly abides by the Three Laws of Robotics, which all androids must follow.

Anthem of Heart is a heartwarming anime film that follows the story of Jun Naruse, a chatterbox whose life is colored with fairytales and happy endings. However, because of her strong belief in fairytales, she is too naive and easily trusting, her words soon her family bond when she reveals her father’s affair which leads to her parents’ divorce, and her regrets soon manifest into a fairy egg- a being who seals her mouth from speaking to protect everyone’s happy endings.

Now, even in high school, Naruse’s speech remains locked by the fairy egg. She can’t speak and when she tries, her stomach twists. But unexpectedly, she is chosen to perform in a musical alongside three students: Takumi Sakagami, Natsuki Nitou, and Daiki Tasaki. Naruse makes her way to the club room to reject the daunting task but changes her mind when she overhears Sakagami’s beautiful singing.

Perhaps the fairy egg ‘curse’ does not apply to singing, and perhaps Sakagami is the fairy tale prince she has been looking for all along. Will Naruse be able to convey the anthem of the heart?
