Agatha All Along is just around the corner, and fans now have a better idea of what to expect from the series, thanks to an industry insider.

With major news about the next two Avengers films, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and Robert Downey Jr.’s return to the MCU, Agatha All Along has stayed somewhat under the radar.

The series will see Kathryn Hahn return as Agatha Harkness and mark Aubrey Plaza’s MCU debut. Premiering on Disney+ on September 18, the show serves as a direct sequel to 2021’s WandaVision.

Agatha All Along is Reportedly “Very, Very Good”

On a recent episode of his podcast Robservations, filmmaker Robert Meyer Burnett shared some exciting news about the expected reviews for Agatha All Along.

Burnett, speaking with an unnamed industry insider, revealed that the upcoming Disney+ show is “actually really good” and will likely surprise fans. He also mentioned that the Wonder Man series is “surprisingly good.” This suggests that two upcoming MCU projects, which some fans were worried about, might exceed expectations:

“We’re getting Agatha All Along, and I heard from an insider that it’s actually really good. I heard that both Wonder Man and Agatha All Along were actually very, very good. Surprisingly good.”

Burnett emphasized that his source is someone he trusts, who has seen parts of both shows and described them as “really good” and better than expected:

“The person who I trust who saw this, and was in a position to see elements of these things, said they were surprisingly good, more so than he had ever thought that they would be. But apparently, they’re really good.”

What Could Make Agatha All Along Reviews So Positive?

Even though Agatha All Along is premiering soon, fan excitement seems relatively low. However, this could work in the show’s favor.

Often, when a release lacks hype or high expectations but then delivers, it is seen as an even bigger success. This might be the case for Agatha All Along.

While the MCU usually makes the right moves with its series and films, some recent projects have received mixed reactions from fans. This has affected the expectations for Agatha All Along. As a direct sequel to the highly successful WandaVision, the show has a lot to live up to.

But according to Burnett and his trusted source, the series might just prove itself as a strong addition to the MCU.

Agatha All Along will premiere its first two episodes on Disney+ on Wednesday, September 18.
