The talented Bollywood Diva Alia Bhatt has added yet another talent to her already long list. The actress has turned producer at the tender age of 27 with an extraordinary project. Recently, Bhatt announced her own production house called Eternal Sunshine Productions!
A brand new venture
For her very 1st venture under this banner, she has bagged a massive collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan‘s Red Chillies Entertainment. They’ll be coming together for a film titled ‘Darlings.’ Along with Alia, famous names like Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma, and Roshan Mathew will feature in prominent roles.
Plot
Directed by Jasmeet K Reen, ‘Darlings‘ is supposed to be a dark comedy revolving around a mother-daughter duo who kidnaps the latter’s abusive husband.
Their life would take a 360° turn when the kidnapped husband goes missing. While Shefali Shah will take on the role of the mother, Alia Bhatt will play her daughter. Actor Vijay Varma has been roped in to play the abusive husband.
Other projects
2021 seems to be a hectic year for Alia. The actress is jam-packed with projects. Currently, she is busy promoting her upcoming film Gangubai Kathiawadi. This magnum opus, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is a very highly anticipated film. If rumors are to be accurate, she’ll also be collaborating with Kartik Aryan for a movie. She will soon start working on a film with Ajay Devgn, who is expected to play Karim Lala in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial.
