Naruto
The Naruto franchise follows the story of a young ninja named Naruto Uzumaki who grows up as a social outcast. As the host of a demonic being called the Nine-Tailed Fox, Naruto scares many of his peers.
Despite the beast sealed inside of him, Naruto’s genuine kindness and strong spirit start to win over those around him. His name is as well-regarded as any in the Hidden Leaf Village. Naruto and One Piece are mentioned in the same breath for a reason.
Black Lagoon
Black Lagoon is darker and more violent than One Piece. But it shares one major thing in common with Eiichiro Oda’s beloved series — pirates. When a pirate mercenary group known as the Lagoon Company kidnaps Black Lagoon’s main character, he ends up joining the ragtag crew and helping on their money-making missions.
They deal with some of the meanest and most powerful crooks from around the globe. The Lagoon Company’s smuggling operations often land them in trouble. As such, Black Lagoon is full of high-octane action and fast-paced boat chases, revealing the sinister side of anime-pirate life.
