In addition to teasing the cliffhanger, Mackie hinted at the dangerous stakes in Avengers: Doomsday, warning that “no one is safe” and “everyone is expendable,” including fan-favorite heroes. He also joked about Robert Downey Jr.’s highly anticipated performance as Doctor Doom, saying he hopes to “get first dibs to knock him off” during the movie.
