Avengers Endgame: Alternated and Deleted Scenes Revealed

AVENGERS ENDGAME had an exceptionally long runtime of 3 hours, 2 minutes.

But the film might have been longer according to screenwriters’ Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. So, it’s time to get excited about an Avengers: Endgame Russo cut

Directors talked about Endgame’s deleted scenes out there that were filmed but, for one reason or another, never made it into the final cut.

They originally had Thor at the start of The Avengers: Endgame on a mission of vengeance. But soon, realized he is always on a mission of vengeance and always fails so he became Fat Thor.

Markus reveals that we almost got to see Thor’s reaction to learning that he eventually winds up in a very dark place.

They reveal in the first draft of The Avengers: Endgame that they weren’t going to go back to the first The Avengers movie. Instead will face to Asgard where Iron Man would be wearing a stealth suit and battle Heimdall who could see him.

During the Infinity Wars, they had Banner and Hulk compromising and becoming the Smart Hulk, but they say, “It came at the wrong moment. It was an up, right when everyone else was down.”

They wrote scenes in a lab about the merging involving gene-splicing but ended up going the route in the Endgame.

They confirm Captain Marvel is in The Avengers: Endgame less than some people thought she would be.

The story would be different if they tried to indulge Captain  Marvel who is a newcomer to the team. Endgame had to deal with the original Avengers with loss and coming to a conclusion.

Kevin Feige came up with the idea of time travel. They felt to use time as an element.

They had spent a few weeks seeing what’s the kookiest thing we could do with time and not break the movie. It was possible only when they had such characters who had experience in the Quantum Realm. Ant-Man was one of who was unused.

There was, for sure. Jen Underdahl, visual effects producer of the movie, read an outline or draft where Hawkeye goes over. And she goes, “Don’t you take this away from her.”

Kevin actually get emotional thinking about it. It was melodramatic to have him die and not get his family back. And it is only right and proper that she’s done.

Tony gets a funeral. Natasha doesn’t.

That’s partly because Tony’s this massive public figure and she’s been a cipher the whole time. It wasn’t necessarily honest to the character to give her a funeral. If she was brought, they may have lost stone.

Steve Rogers’ Captain America (Chris Evans) after he returned to his past and grew old, it became clear that Marvel wasn’t done with Captain America just yet.

Steve lifted his shield to Sam Wilson aka Falcon. Sam Wilson’s future is looking bright, and Mackie sounds excited to see where it all goes.

As we know Spider-Man: Far From Home will have to find a way to deal with the five-year time-jump ahead of where it was at the end of Infinity War. went on to make it clear that the MCU is a very different – and potentially damaged world – moving forward.

It means that half of the planet basically has either lost five years or lived through a terrible five years.
