Avengers: Endgame Has No End-Credit Scene, But There Is Something At The End

Avengers: Endgame is now running in theaters worldwide. Over the past 11 years, Marvel fans know that they have to wait longer as the credit rolls. The curiosity to know one more scene before the movie really over hovers among them.

This time, fans are indeed in a dilemma if they should wait for credit scenes. However, the run time of the movie is set at 3 hours and 58 seconds, is the longest movie in the MCU’s history. So it particularly doesn’t necessarily have anything to reveal or tease.

No Post Credit Scene in ENDGAME.

Despite the MCU tradition of post-credit scenes, Endgame is a true finale. Some fans may be shocked when the “Avengers: Endgame” credits end without one tradition many have grown to expect.

Earlier every MCU movie had a post credit scene which would give a glimpse of some shots that hovers fans. However, when it comes to Endgame, there isn’t a scene attached to the end of the credits. Although, there is a brief audio stinger waiting for their fans. The metal hitting metal sound is open to interpretation, but it’s been suggested it sounds like Tony Stark forging his first Iron Man armor.

The post-credit scene from 2008’s “Iron Man,” the first movie of the 22 in the series now called the Infinity Saga, according to Gamespot, is still a favorite. It essentially sets up the MCU when Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark is told he isn’t the only superhero out there: “Mr. Stark, you’ve become part of a bigger universe. You just don’t know it yet.” Another revealing clip from 2015’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” foreshadows Thanos’ dark intentions — and the massive gold glove that has now become synonymous with the infinity stones.

Keeping the post-credits under wraps this time shows the Russos feel they have shown everything they need to on screen. Fans are still enough cheerful and enthusiastic that they can sit through another three hours if given the chance.

Instead, the credits provide a look at the images of the huge cast. This ends with a magnificent curtain call for the main core group of heroes.

Wait! Spoiler ahead

The last scene of the movie provides a tribute to the many who were lost. The faint sound like a tolling bell can be heard, marking their deaths.

It is a special final touch given after the intense emotional ride and terrible loss of two of the Avengers biggest heroes. The lack of a post-credits scene signals that what just happened to Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff, Thor, Hawkeye, Hulk, and the rest of the Avengers matters.

Fans will feel happy as there’s a chance of Thor will now move into the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. There’s also speculation that another Guardian somehow made a miraculous return.

Marvel boss Kevin Feige has stated that Avengers: Endgame isn’t an end to Phase 3 technically, but is Spider-Man: Far From Home. So perhaps some hint as to what is to come will be delivered there, once the movie is released in July.
