Blue Lock Chapter 176 Recap
Here’s what happened in the previous chapter, Blue Lock Chapter 176:
- Isagi takes it upon himself to intercept the advance of Manshine City’s Chigiri. He knows that Chigiri’s dominant leg is his right having played against him multiple times. But he is confused because Chigiri was surprisingly assigned to play on the left side of the field.
- He tries to figure out Chigiri’s next move and predicts that Chigiri will most probably attempt a pass from inside the box. However, Chigiri feints him and cuts towards the outside. Isagi is then joined by Menser as the two try to intercept Chigiri.
- We are then shown a flashback where Chris Prince is seen explaining to Chigiri about the “Golden Zone”. He explains that a golden zone is a special area where his chances of scoring a goal go up. It is then revealed that Chigiri’s golden area is 19m from the goal and 44 degrees to the left.
- Chigiri then easily cuts through both Menser and Isagi using the technique Mach cut-in. He breaks into the penalty area just 4m away from his golden zone.
- Suddenly, Kunigami also tries to intercept Chigiri but unfortunately for Bastard Munchen, Chigiri was already in his golden zone. He again cuts through Kunigami and Isagi and fires a shot to the corner of the goal.
- The ball flies past the keeper’s reach and straight into the back of the net. Coach Chris Prince remarks on Chigiri’s new golden style – The “44 Panther Snipe”. The score is now Bastard Munchen 0 – 1 Manshine City.
