Boruto Chapter 70 Recap
Here’s what happened in the previous chapter, Boruto Chapter 70:
- Shikiramu tried to convince Aida to move to Konoha where she can be close to Kawaki. She activated her senrigan which allows her to see everywhere in the world as well as see into the past.
- Meanwhile, Naruto arrived at the door but couldn’t open it. Through Ino’s jutsu, Shikamaru informs him not to interfere and to let him handle the situation inside.
- Back in Kawaki’s room, Sumire asks Kawaki how the situation was between him and Boruto. They start speculating about Amado’s real intentions in engineering the karma into Kawaki. He then finally decides to set out and find out the real intentions of the man behind everything.
- Eida notices Kawaki approaching their location. She informs Code that they need to fall back immediately. Shikamaru realizes that Kawaki can nullify Code’s claw marks. Amado also points out that Eida’s abilities are won’t work against her blood relatives and Ohtsutsuki.
- Shikamaru is enraged that Amado had kept crucial information from them. However, Amado argues that if he had told them, they would’ve let Kawaki fight against them. He adds that Shikamaru wouldn’t care less if both Code and Kawaki were to die fighting each other.
- In the end Code and Eida managed to escape with the help of Delta. They take Amado back with them to their hideout where Code forced him to remove his limiter.
