Boruto Chapter 80 Full Plot & Leaked SummaryBoruto Chapter 80

Chapter 80 of the Boruto manga begins with Boruto still on the run, accused of killing Naruto. Shikamaru confronts Eida, asking if Boruto is truly responsible for Naruto’s death, to which she confirms. Kawaki angrily grabs Eida by the collar, stating that he will keep Naruto sealed until he can kill Boruto. Shikamaru then publicly announces Boruto’s alleged crime, causing Sarada to break down in tears. Mitsuki decides to go after Boruto, and Eida questions if Kawaki really needs to go that far.

Sasuke finds Sarada, who informs him that Mitsuki is after Boruto. However, Sasuke seems to be affected by Eida’s ability, as he considers Mitsuki’s reaction to being “natural”. Meanwhile, Sumire contacts Sarada and reveals that Eida is behind the spell affecting everyone except for them. Sarada desperately tries to convince Sasuke that Boruto is innocent, but he remains under Eida’s influence and tells her to go home. Sarada, in a moment of selfishness, unlocks her Mangekyō Sharingan and begs her father to help Boruto.

Sasuke eventually agrees and takes Boruto away, explaining their past encounters with Kawaki and their victory over Momoshiki. Eida sees this and decides to pursue them. Momoshiki demands Boruto give him his body and stay shut-in forever, but Boruto refuses, stating that he has inherited the will of his father, mother, and grandfather as a shinobi. He prepares for training to become stronger to face Kawaki, while Code plans his revenge and Kawaki still wants to kill Boruto.

The chapter concludes with a side text promising an end to the “brother fight” and the beginning of a new chapter for the story. However, fans will have to wait as the manga goes on a three-month hiatus before returning in August 2023. Overall, Chapter 80 delves deeper into the ongoing conflict between Boruto, Kawaki, and their allies, while also exploring the emotional toll it takes on those involved.
