Avengers Endgame Thor

Thor: The Dark World Initially Had A Completely Different And Far Better Ending

Original Ending Of Thor: The Dark World

Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World initially had a completely different ending – and it would have been a considerable improvement in the final release. Keep reading for Thor: The Dark World Different Ending.

Thor: The Dark World initially had a completely different ending. In general, the MCU has a good image for quality. However, there were quite a few early trips; and Thor: The Dark World is generally seen as one of the worst. It has one of the lowest MCU ratings on the Rotten Tomatoes aggregate review site, with a criticism score of 66%. Actress Natalie Portman, who played Jane Foster in the movie, found the experience of producing Thor: The Dark World quite unsatisfactory. The relationship between Marvel Studios and Portman worsened to the point that Portman left the MCU; she was unhappy about Marvel’s treatment of her friend Patty Jenkins, the first director selected for the movie. The script poorly portrayed Portman’s character.

The alternative ending of Thor: The Dark World, released in the Infinity Saga set, shows that this does not always have to be the case. It looks like Marvel initially had very different plans for both Thor and Jane Foster. And that would have been much effective.

1.Jane Foster’s Breakup With Thor

Thor: The Dark World
Thor and Jane

The alternative ending opens Thor’s awakening on Earth, under his father’s protection. In this version, the battle for Convergence almost killed Thor, and he was unconscious for three days; Odin was afraid that his son would not survive the journey through Bifrost. This is why the Thunder God was looking after him in Jane Foster’s apartment. It gave Odin time to meet Jane, and he was impressed. He realized that Thor was not blinded by passion as he thought. Odin apologizes to Thor for doubting his wisdom. He later admits that he has made the right decisions in the Malekith case and proved to be worthy.

But Thor’s dignity comes at a price because he learns that Jane has decided they can’t be together. These three days gave Jane time to reflect and think. She concluded that love was not enough; they both have their commitments. Her commitment was her work, and Thor’s was the throne of Asgard. Initially, Thor resists Jane’s wishes, claiming that he is not burning for the throne, but Jane insists that this is why he will be a great king. They both eventually realize that they have been gathered to save lives, not to share them; they were, in fact, the defense mechanism of the universe, protection against the threat of Convergence. So Thor comes back to Asgard to take the throne of Odin, while Jane and her friends remain on Earth.

2.This Variation Ending Treated Jane Foster As A Firm Character

Thor: The Dark World

It seems that Marvel initially intended to bring the topic of romance to the center of Thor: The Dark World. Indeed, these alternate endings fit into reports in which they planned that Thor 2 would be their version of Romeo and Juliet, with Thor divided between his love for Jane and his loyalty to Asgard and the All-Father. It is impressive, however, that this version gave Jane Foster a real sense of agency. In the end, she breaks it. She is given three days to imagine what life would be like with Thor. And she realizes that it can’t work because they will always be drawn towards different directions. Thor is bound to take the throne of Asgard, but Jane would be useless there, and she can’t stand it.

Meanwhile, the alternative ending helps Portman’s sheer quality of play. She manages to portray Jane as a complex, conflicted woman, someone who loves Thor and yet knows what she must do. The message is exceptionally mature for stories about superheroes, who often indulge in romantic fulfillment, as a result of which the ending is bittersweet. Thor is freed to take the throne, and Jane Foster can continue her life. As Thor and Odin leave, Darcy suggests that Jane might have made a big mistake; this is a typical Darcy where she offends someone, but it perfectly expresses the doubts and uncertainty that accompanies romance in the real world.

3. The Concept Of Destiny Would Have Said More About Thor: Love & Thunder

Thor: Love and Thunder
Thor: Love and Thunder

Meanwhile, the alternative ending completes a subtle theme in Thor: The Dark World, which has always seemed a bit incomplete. In one early scene, Thor claims that he and Jane have combined fate; it was never developed in the final theater, but the alternative ending suggests that it was initially more involved. Thor refers to Loki’s comment, suggesting that the Trickster God also said something about his destiny. In the end, however, the Thunder God realizes that the love he shares with Jane is a universal defense mechanism, a fate that ensures life will be preserved, and Malekith will be defeated.

In some ways, it announces the return of Jane Foster in Thor: Love & Thunder – where she is intended to own Mjolnir herself. After all, it implies that fate has a significant effect on Jane’s life; although she and Thor believe that this is the end, there is no real reason why it cannot be developed further. Indeed, Brandon T. Snider’s novel ‘The Cosmic Quest Volume II: Aftermath’ – a related book embedded in the repercussions of Avengers: Endgame – revealed that Jane’s contact with Ether subtly changed it. It seems that Jane now has some cosmic consciousness, to such an extent that she felt the crack of Thanos, even if she wasn’t killed by it. She is no longer a mere mortal, and that could easily mean she was meant for something greater than she had ever believed – for example, wielding Thor’s power.

4.Marvel’s Loki Reveal Didn’t Have Any Benefit.

Thor: The Dark World

It is not difficult to understand why Marvel Studios turned away from this alternative ending; Loki died in the original version, killed by Malekith. “Loki’s death on Svartalfheim was written as death,” explained Tom Hiddleston. “I would say Chris and I played this scene for real. It meant that he had redeemed himself, helped save his brother, helped save Jane Foster, but sacrificed himself in the process.” Marvel came up with a better plan for the Trickster God, allowing him to survive and pretend Odin, and take over the throne of Asgard himself. This naturally had to be corrected in the other conclusions of Thor: The Dark World, because it would work better if Thor stayed on Earth. Hence the replays.

And yet Thor: Ragnarok was not interested in developing this idea; he doesn’t spend a lot of time researching Loki’s rule. Adjusting the MCU to this other ending would not be difficult. Thor could still return to Earth in Avengers: Age of Ultron to personally acquire Loki’s Scepter and then experience the play of Infinity Stones; he could then decide to leave Asgard to search the universe for clues as to who was responsible. Thor could quickly appoint Odin as regent in his absence – and Odin can still be replaced by Loki, which means that almost everything played the same way. Marvel didn’t hit the trick when they finalized Thor: The Dark World again.

Tom Hiddleston Describes the Time Chris Hemsworth Punched Him in the Face

The Many Thor vs Loki Moments:

The MCU has had some very interesting and unique Thor vs Loki moments. The stars behind the characters have also had funny moments on set. From spending hours with each other and working behind the scenes, these actors tend to experience riveting moments on set.

In a recent interview, Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki, made some comments about his fellow actor, Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor. Hiddleston also recalls a time when Hemsworth punched him in the face.

The Thor vs Loki Punch:

Hiddleston went on to explain how actors try to get the perfect angle for a shot. He also said that they have to do the scene just once to get the perfect moment. He explains that a scene in the first Avengers movie shows Thor striking Loki across the face. The only issue here was that a head ornament was getting in Thor’s way.

Hiddleston states that he was wearing thirty-pound horns. And it is because of these horns that they were not being able to sell the smack. Therefore, Tom simply asked Chris to hit him in the face for a great Thor vs Loki scene.

The Result Of The Punch

Hiddleston jokingly made a confession that he fell down after Hemsworth’s punch. He also states that he will not be able to handle another similar punch by the God of Thunder. This is also one of the funniest Thor vs Loki moments, according to the actor. This is especially these kinds of scenes happen all the time on a Broadway stage. However, given the power that Chris Hemsworth can pack in a single punch, Huddleston would rather stay away from another similar moment.

Hiddleston is currently preparing to debut on Broadway with the show Betrayal, in New York City.

Taika Waititi, the Kiwi director is extremely famous in the MCU. He is also popular for giving a makeover to the God of Thunder in the third installation of the franchise. Also, Waititi will be taking the helm as a director yet again, this time for the

Upcoming Thor Movie.

It is because of him that Thor: Ragnarok went on to become a commercial success. It is also one of the most acclaimed films by Marvel. A lot of credit for the success goes to the intelligent sense of humour that the film portrayed. Additionally, Thor’s character in the movie is also quite refreshing, something different from his usual archaic personality.

The Upcoming Marvel seriesThor Movie:

Unlike other superheroes of the MCU, Thor is getting his fourth solo movie, titled Thor: Love and Thunder. Along with this, another important thing to know about the Upcoming Thor Movie is the cast. In the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con, Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, brought the whole cast on stage.

In addition to Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson playing Thor and Valkyrie respectively, the cast will also include Natalie Portman. The actress played the character of Jane Foster in the first two Thor films. Now Portman is all set to play the female Thor in the fourth installation.

Curiosity about the Real Star Of Upcoming Thor Movie:

After this announcement, fans have been curious about the Real Star Of Upcoming Thor Movie. Is it Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, or is it the female Thor? In regards to this, in an interview, Waititi was quoted as saying that the Real Star Of Upcoming Thor Movie will be none other than Chris Hemsworth. Why? Because it is essentially a film on Thor, and Hemsworth is Thor.

He also commented that Portman is just a character in a Thor film, thereby clearing all doubts that fans had in their minds. This comment also strengthens many beliefs. One such belief is that regardless of all the changes that MCU is making in its Phase 4, it is still keeping its roots intact.

The Upcoming Thor Movie Thor: Love and Thunder will release in November 2021.

Marvel Phase 4 Thor

Director Confirms There Are Two Thors in “Thor: Love and Thunder”

MCU and Thor:

With Marvel Studios bringing the fourth Thor movie in the MCU, fans across the world are waiting with anticipation as to what the film has to offer.

The film will also reportedly bring back a very popular character played by a famous actress in the film’s franchise. This character has the power to give the original Thor a good run for his money.

Natalie Portman’s Return to the MCU:

Fans are still curious and confused as to what role will Natalie Portman have in the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder.

By Moviweb

Taika Waititi, the maker of the film, recently commented at the 2019 Disney D23 Expo, where he said that while Chris Hemsworth’s Thor Odinson would still keep his status and stature in the film, he would also be further joined by Portman’s character Jane Foster in it.

Jane Foster as Thor:

Foster is also a Thor, along with Thor Odinson, who is the original character.

While she is not addressed as the Female Thor, Foster’s character in the comics is called the Mighty Thor. And this story arc will be included in the series.

The Mighty Thor:

In the Marvel Comics, Jane Foster received the title of the Mighty Thor after the original Thor became Unworthy, all due to something that Nick Fury did.

Odinson could no longer wield the Mjolnir after that, and its power was then transferred to Foster who eventually took on Thor’s mantle and consequently joined the Avengers.

The Unworthy Thor:

Furthermore, a new separate title called The Unworthy Thor was declared, wherein Thor Odinson wielded his Jarnbjorn ax, which is similar to the Stormbreaker used by Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

What Is in It for Fans?

Waititi further wants to make Foster’s character a full-fledged one in MCU and has been more than happy with the return of The Mighty Thor in Thor: Love and Thunder.

Additionally, according to the director, this reprise of Foster’s character will also interest fans and attract their attention to the film even more.

Thor: Love and Thunder are slated to release on November 5, 2021.

Idris Elba Isn’t Convinced Thanos’ Fully Killed Heimdall

Avengers: Infinity War raised the stakes for fans around the world when it lived up to their expectations of the loss of major characters of the film franchise.

Heimdall’s Death:

One of the first casualties was Heimdall, who kept fighting till his very last breath so that the rest of the world, along with the Avengers could get a chance to fight against Thanos and his Black Order.

As a punishment for doing this, Thanos used the Asgardian to stab Heimdall in the heart. The Mad Titan then destroyed the ship that was supposedly carrying the rest of the refugees of Asgard.

If Idris Elba Is to Be Believed:

Although Heimdall’s fate had a sense of finality, actor Idris Elba isn’t fully convinced that the character fully died at the hands of Thanos.

He even stated in an interview that Heimdall’s character could possibly return to the MCU. This return could take place in the next installment of the series, which is titled “Thor: Love and Thunder.”

Heimdall’s Possible Return:

Considering the fact that Heimdall is essentially a part of the god family, he could most probably be alive.

Additionally, he is one character that has gone through and faced a lot in the films throughout the years, which includes the war he fought against the Dark Elves, the way he guided the people of Asgard from Hela and how he was frozen by Frost Giants.

And since his character goes back into the time of the Thor mythology, it will be interesting to see how the makers will bring Heimdall’s character back to life.

While Marvel Studios clearly plan on bringing Vision back to life for their TV series called WandaVision on Disney Plus, it is still quite unclear as to how they would be doing it.

Regardless, if a character such as Vision, who had his mind ripped out, can come back to life, Heimdall could also possibly return from his intergalactic grave.

Captain America Thor

Marvel Fan Reminds Us Thor Promised Asgard to Captain America under One Condition

Regardless of what his title will be, Steve Rogers, aka Captain America is technically the King of Asgard.

If theories are to be believed, Thor had, in a drunken state of mind in Avengers: Age of Ultron promised to give this kingdom to Rogers.

Marvel Fan Points Out the Reminder:

As a die-hard fan of the MCU frequently pointed out, Thor was in full agreement with the group that there should be someone to lead Mjolnir, and this person would also be the rightful heir to the throne of Asgard.

As evident in Endgame, Rogers had eventually succeeded in wielding Mjolnir to help save Thor from his death by Thanos.

Soon after the film was released, Joe Russo, the film’s co-director, had said in an interview that Captain America was capable enough to pick up the mentioned hammer in Age of Ultron.

He also said that Rogers did not do so because he didn’t want to embarrass Thor in front of everybody.

Additionally, every Marvel fan has, at some point, believed that Cap was worthy enough to potentially lift the hammer and the day he did it would be extremely special.

By Comicbook

The Build Up to The Scene:

Ever since the movie was in its early stages of production, the moment where Cap grabs the hammer was something that the makers of the film wanted to stress upon.

This would also portray Cap’s journey throughout the films.

It would also be able to successfully show the multiple inner layers that Captain America’s character eventually has.

Adding further, Thor comes up with a character that is full of humor in the movie, meanwhile making it hard for the God of Thunder to let the fans see what he has to show. This means that the fans of God of Thunder were not used to see such character of his but Thor put him in this situation.

Also, according to Christopher Markus, the co-writer of avengers: Endgame said: ”they wanted to continue pushing the character into a different direction after Thor: Ragnarok”.

It was said by Markus in the LA Times ‘He got re-toned by Taika Waititi, Eric Pearson, ad Chris Hemsworth in Thor: Ragnarok and that was a gift to us.’

Along with this, he added that they wanted to give him some real consequences and obstacles too. It was believed that he has lost a lot in that movie which he takes with self-assurance but that does not change the fact that he has lost everything.

He is headed from the throne from his very first movie. All this by purpose which has somewhat made him realize and believe that it is not what people expect from him, instead it is all about embracing what he really feels is right.

This was added in the news by Eric Pearson. Furthermore, he added that Hemsworth is a gorgeous person with the looks and talent to be funny and he will be best for the role.

It is, in fact, the great second half of the MCU for him and he is delightful for all that coming out.

It was likely that Hemsworth will be out from MCU to which the myth was clarified once he signed for the return of Thor 4.

What Thor 4 Could Mean For Chris Hemsworth’s Role In Guardians Of The Galaxy 3

Everyone was eager to know what’s next after Avengers: Endgame. Thor 4 has been recently confirmed with Thor Ragnarok director Taika Waititi.

The return of the same has also been confirmed with Chris Hemsworth. Marvel fans were delighted and surprised by Thor Ragnarok two years ago.

The outstanding performance was given by him in both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. This opened up further doors in this industry for him.

There is an assumption been made since the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been started. The assumption says that every hero will end up with their trilogy.

Also, see When The Thor 4 Is Expected to Hit The Theatres?

This is merely an assumption and there is no proof for the right or wrong of this.

Reports have revealed that Hemsworth is expected to have a decent-sized role in the Guardian of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

There are several questions being raised about the role of Thor. People wish to know the role of Thor as it is currently Marvel’s longest-running franchise.

According to the recent reports, Waititi is returning to the MCU with the role of writing and directing Thor 4 which is indeed another best opportunity.

It is believed that the ending of Avengers: Endgame has motivated to add Thor to the Guardian’s roaster.

This move was not officially confirmed earlier. Gunn is the executive producer of Avengers: Endgame and according to him, he had a three-film story in his mind which surely did not include Thor.

It is said in reports that Gunn knows what exactly he has to do with Thor and due to this, Thor 4 is happening.

There were rumors regarding Thor 4 not happening, the reason behind the same was because the story was rewritten.

As people were expecting a blooding and gloomy movie, Ragnarok came up with laughs and explosions of colors which indeed gave the best characters and scenes in MCU.

The writer Waititi did not make and direct the two parts of Thor which are a shame according to people.

Nonetheless, Avengers: Endgame was a turnaround in Thor’s story as the idea of endgame makes people think that it is the end now.

He has done what he is supposed to do, kill Thanos, which was a remarkable ending expected by the viewers. Also, by doing this, he has lost his family, his home planet, ad at a specific point his hammer.

It is expected that the viewers will get to see more of the God of Thunder. Gunn is all set to give some different taste to the public by releasing Thor 4 before Guardian of Galaxy Vol. 3.

Adding further, it is a great opportunity for Hemsworth to give his best shots back-to-back. It is expected that Thor will have a better and larger role for him in Guardians of Galaxy Volume 4.

Also, the reports have revealed that the immediate development of Thor 4 will give the best role to Hemsworth but on the other side; he might not get a prominent role in other MCU’

Guardians of Galaxy Thor

What could possibly happen in Thor 4?

With sources having confirmed the fast pace of approaching of Thor 4, speculations are constantly rising high about the upcoming Thor movie.

While it has become common news by now that none other than Taika Waititi, the director of the much-acclaimed Thor: Ragnarok is all set to direct the latest installation to the Thor franchise.

Also, see When The Thor 4 Is Expected to Hit The Theatres?

Marvel fans are having a hard time dealing with all the excitement buzzing around the much-asked questions, What should the audience expect in Thor 4?

People are also most eagerly waiting to know in which avatar they would get to see their favorite God of Thunder of MCU, the one and only dashing Chris Hemsworth.

The fans have been thinking hard about this question since they have last met with the most unique version of Thor, in both physicality and personality, in Avengers: Endgame.

‘Asgardians of the Galaxy’

Thor’s newly founded friendship with the members of the Guardians of the Galaxy, as shown at the end of Avengers: Endgame have specifically intrigued the fans.

Though the Asgardian’s pairing up with Rocket Racoon had already been witnessed and dearly loved by people in Avengers: Infinity War.

However, the most favorite part of the audience about this new friendship was the hilarious chemistry being portrayed in Avengers: Endgame between Star-Lord Chris Pratt and Thor, during their conversation in the spaceship regarding who is going to be the captain of the same.

Chances are that ‘Asgardians of the Galaxy’, might have a basket full of significant Marvel Easter eggs waiting to be revealed surely in Thor 4.

Will Heimdall and Loki be back?

People would lovingly welcome the idea to see Idris Elba taking up the role of Heimdall, yielding his signature sword once again and looking defiantly with that godly tinge of gold sparkling in Thor 4.

They have already been left heartbroken since Heimdall’s tragic death in Avengers: Infinity War. Also, the audience would love to see Tom Hiddleston, back in the role of Loki in the upcoming Thor movie.

About Valkyrie and the rest of the Asgardians

We have seen Valkyrie becoming the new monarch of Asgard; she has been addressed by Thor as Her Highness. Fans would be thrilled to see more of this new queen of the new Asgard.

And talking about the new Asgard on earth is it unlikely for the Marvel fans to expect a reincarnation of the Asgardians who have perished, in some other form in Thor 4? MCU has kept haunting us with all such unanswered questions.

Beta Ray Bill

Another important Marvel character likely to be introduced in MCU through Thor 4 is Beta Ray Bill, who according to comic books’ Thor has earned a second Mjolnir from an immensely impressed Odin.

While Iron Man has been considered as the most iconic Marvel superhero after his brilliant yet tragic and official departure from MCU marked by Endgame (not to forget some memorable dialogues) and three amazing films to his credit, Thor, with all due respect to Iron Man, may soon and most likely surpass his popularity as Thor 4 hits the theatres.

So, When The Thor 4 Is Expected to Hit The Theatres ?

Sources have confirmed that a fourth Thor movie of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is going to hit the big screen much sooner than expected.

As an extra surprise, it has also been revealed that Taika Waititi, the director of the much-acclaimed latest installation of the Thor franchise, Thor: Ragnarok, is all set to direct the upcoming movie as well.

Also, see Marvel Reveals What Really Makes Thor Worthy of Mjolnir

With the production of Thor 4, it is believed that Thor would become the original of the Marvel superheroes and the only member of the Avengers with four movies to his credit, thus, leaving behind Iron Man and Captain America who have three movies each.

Although, the initial plan of Waititi was to direct an Akira movie with Warner Bros., as the producer, certain problems related to the script of the film ultimately delayed the production without any immediate decision on a definite postponed date.

Luckily enough for Marvel fans, Taika Waititi used this opportunity to make up his mind to focus on the fourth Thor movie. We can, therefore, expect Thor 4 to be around the corner.

It is well-known news by now, that Marvel Studios is packed with several exciting upcoming films that are scheduled to be released in a line in the next few years.

The dates must be marked on the calendar: May 1, 2020; November 6, 2020; February 12, 2021; May 7, 2021; November 5, 2021; February 18, 2022; May 6, 2022. Black Widow, the first film made on this original Avenger, has since late been baiting on the fans’ excitement.

Shang Chi and The Eternals, on the other hand, have supposedly booked the theatre slots on November 6, 2020, and February 12, 2021, respectively.

Excitement is also surging over the expected and much-anticipated sequels to the movies like Black Panther, Doctor Strange, and Captain Marvel.

However, the dates in the month of May, as it has been observed, have always been reserved for the biggest hits that Marvel Studios can surely count on.

While Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 was heard to have previously been kept for the May 2020 date.

The dilemmatic decision of Marvel Studio’s internal affair involving a stifle with the director James Gunn and subsequent peace-making with him, caused the movie to be postponed for quite some time, even having its date replaced finally with ‘Black Widow’.

Other than the sequel to Black Panther, the other sequel movies already mentioned above are unlikely to be considered of a caliber qualified for a May release.

Thor being a long-time Marvel superhero of one of the strongest characters in MCU, besides being a member of the original Avengers constituted by seven superheroes, might seem to reserve a date in May for his new movie.

But, based on the fact that two of the previous Thor movies, Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok were released on November, there is an irrefutable possibility for Thor 4 to be also released in the same month just ahead of Thanksgiving, instead of May.

To be honest, we all are excited to meet Thor back after having seen him in his strange new avatar last in Avengers: Endgame.

Only the worthy shall yield the hammer, they say. And only the worthiest fans shall survive these days excitement till the God of Thunder of MCU makes a grand appearance with his latest movie.

Marvel Reveals What Really Makes Thor Worthy of Mjolnir

Mjolnir is a very powerful magical object which can not be wielded by anyone. Mjolnir holds the power of God Tempest who year’s ago attacked Asgard; when Odin captured the storm in a piece of Uru.

The Uru piece was a gift from dwarves of Nidavelliar after Odin saved them from the invasion of trolls.

Odin then ordered them to forge Mjolnir from that chunk of Uru metal; as it was necessary to contain the powers of God tempest safely.

Once the Hammer was made Odin tried to wield it, it was uncontrollable as God tempest was still retaining some of the power.

Odin used the hammer to defeat the frost giants & after that, the hammer was stored away at the place where God Tempest died for many untold years.

Mjolnir was too powerful a weapon to be wielded by an evil so he eventually after some time cast the worthiness spell.

After many centuries it was passed on to Thor who proved his worthiness after numerous trials.

The big question here is what makes you worthy of Mjolnir; Marvel comics provide you the answer in the complex plot of War of the Realm.

It took a War for thor to understand what makes you worthy after he was no longer able to wield it.

Jason Aron in 2012 started Thor Saga which came to an end with the miniseries of War of the realm.

The sole purpose of this miniseries is to answer what makes you worthy? Why was thor not able to lift it just cause he heard something & lost confidence.

Aron’s Thor is fighting against the God Butcher Gorr in the opening scene; Gorr is someone who lost all he loved on a lifeless planet where he lived when he asked Gods for help they were not they so he started worshiping hate deities.

After he discovers Newcrosword he was unstoppable & started killing Gods brutally for being selfish & apathetic towards him.

It took three Thors (the Avenger, the Young Viking God & All-father from Future) from different timelines to defeat Gorr at last.

Afterward, Gorr’s accusation of God’s being hateful, vengeful & selfish people doesn’t deserve to be worshiped by immortals haunted Thor for a very long time.

Later Nick Fury whispered something that made Thor lose his confidence & was no longer able to field Mjolnir.

During this time Jane Froster became the God of Thunder while Thor finds a replacement for his hammer. Jane sacrifices it to stop the dangerous monster Mangog.

The final fight between Malekith & Thor is still not over & Thor doesn’t have his own mighty hammer so he once again calls the Thor from another time who is worthy but hasn’t wielded the hammer before — he believes worthiness can only be earned.

During the battle with Malekith when a monster attacks Freja his mother young Thor was so enraged by this that he picks up All-father Thor’s Mjolnir & wields it to defeat the symbiote monster.

Wrap Up

You are worthy when you do good for others with the best intentions in your heart & not for your own glory.

Fat Thor had been one of the best things that were portrayed in Avengers: Endgame.

The new appearance was a closely kept secret right up until release day, with stars staying tight-lipped in interviews.

Thor seemed to have a seriously hard time while dealing with the loss of half universe, which included his family, friends. Thor let himself go, indulging in beer and video games. Chris Hemsworth’s Thor sported a potbelly in the film and fans started calling him ‘Fat Thor’.

Marvel has now suggested a new name to our lovely fat thor, “Bro Thor.”

As per, a special featurette for Avengers Endgame is titled ‘Bro Thor’ and the clip is described as,

“His appearance has changed but his heroism remains! Go behind the scenes to see how Bro Thor was created.”

This new name is arguably an improvement though, as it doesn’t just describe Thor’s physical state but his mental one as well.

The God of Thunder chose to shirk all the responsibility as he had lost everything he had.

Chris Hemsworth as Thor in Endgame

Chris Hemsworth had earlier revealed that he wore a body suit to achieve the look required in the film.

While talking to the Business Insider, director Anthony Russo told that it was quite taxing for the actor. He talked about Chris’s problem while he played the character of fat thor.

“While we were shooting Endgame where he was heavier we had to do some pickup shots for Infinity War, so he would have to go back and forth between those two looks. So he had to wear a bodysuit, and it was quite heavy.

That suit started to wear on his back, which was scary when you have someone who has to be so physical.”

It’s been rumored that the next time we will see Chris Hemsworth as The God of Thunder on the big-screen will be in Slither and Super writer-director James Gunn’s third Guardians of the Galaxy movie which will NOT be called Asgardians of the Galaxy thank you very much.

Karen Gillan and Pom Klementieff will probably be joining the Guardians once again as Nebula and Mantis, and I’m sure James Gunn will figure out a way to bring back Michael Rooker as Yondu Udonta.

And let’s hope that Sylvester Stallone will return for a more significant role as his Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 characters, Stakar Ogord.

Avengers: Endgame is now being re-released in theaters with some extra scenes and a tribute to Stan Lee. The digital release of the movie stated to release on June 30 across America.

Chris Hemsworth Explains How He Helped Tom Holland Get Spider-Man Role

We know that Marvel hasn’t given a fair chance to Thor and Spider-Man to share screens, but we do know that both stars are friends off-screen.

It was revealed that the 35-year-old has made a ‘phone call’ in hopes that he could help his pal become the next Peter Parker.

Chris Hemsworth reveals how he helped Tom Holland

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Hemsworth revealed that he did all he could to help him once and future costar.

“I mean, look, we worked on In the Heart of the Sea together, obviously, then through Avengers and as they were casting him for Spider-Man, I did what I could do and made a call and said he’s one of the most talented people, I’ve worked with and has such a big heart and appreciation,” Hemsworth said. “I don’t know, we have a great friendship, it’s a good mutual respect.”

Holland made his debut as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the MCU in Captain America: Civil War back in 2016.

The British actor’s performances in The Impossible, Wolf Hall, and In the Heart of the Sea impressed the studios and producers and secured him the role of Peter Parker in the highest-grossing film of 2016.

Holland became also the youngest actor to play a title role in the MCU.

They both were recently featured interviewing each other and proved a strong bond exists between the two.

Announcing the news on Twitter, Chris told his fans that he ‘sat down with competition winner @TomHolland1996 in Bali’.

‘So great to see the look on his face when he got to meet his hero,’ the Avengers actor added. And they didn’t stop with the roasting.

Tom is it? Tom Hiddleston?’ mocked Chris, before asking why Thor wasn’t in Far From Home.

‘It was for the front running Avengers in this one,’ Tom explained before adding: ‘Who is going to take up RDJ’s spot?’

‘Yeah, that’s why I asked where Thor was…’ scoffed Chris.

Thor and Chris Hemsworth’s friendship

Tom, who’s renowned for slipping spoilers left, right and center, recently posted a behind the scenes video of one of the most devastating scenes of Endgame.

It turns out the cast were led to believe they were filming a wedding, but despite the film being released in late April he admitted he was nervous about sharing his clips due to his reputation.

He wrote: ‘I don’t know why I’m so stressed posting this. The movie is already out. I guess when Barry [Curtis] said no cameras we all heard bring your cameras.’

That friendship forged in Hemsworth’s 2015 film allowed Holland to act opposite him in his first Marvel film, 2016’s Captain America: Civil War.

Holland returned for his own standalone film Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017, as well as Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. He’s ready to hit theaters with Spider-Man Far From Home next month.

Does Chris Hemsworth Want to Reprise His Role as Thor?

Chris Hemsworth got his career boosted with the entry to Marvel as Thor: The God of Thunder in 2011.

Time passed and now its 8 years since Chris joined Marvel and the Marvel’s Thor franchise as well as in the Avenger movies, Thor’s character is well played. The natural confidence in him brought God of Thunder to life.

Chris Hemsworth Talks about the Thor’ future

The recently released, Avengers: Endgame went way beyond expectations, retiring older heroes from the franchise.

There were deaths, long lives (eventually) well-lived in the case of Cap, and more than one fond farewell. But it’s still unclear for Thor’s future in Marvel.

In a recent interview with Comic Book Movie, Hemsworth spoke about how he feels about Thor and whether he wants to retire like many of his co-stars.

He also explained why a couple of times, he felt trapped by his role.

Many actors that play the same role for this long worry that they may be typecast. That is likely why many of his Marvel co-stars have decided to jump ship.

Hemsworth, on the other hand, might not feel the same way. Of course, playing a God is not something many actors can add to their resume. When asked about his future plans for the character, Chris seemed blank on what he’s doing next but it’s sure that it will take time.

Speaking to CinemaBlend, Hemsworth was asked whether he’d like to play Thor again in Guardians of the Galaxy 3, stating:

“I’d play [Thor] again. I love it so much – especially if there’s something unique to do again with it. I felt like the last three films were very, very different each time.”

A version of Thor with James Gunn behind the camera definitely sounds like a winning combination – and extremely different to what’s come before.

The Thor actor, however, poured cold water over any suggestions he’s definitely going to play a role in James Gunn’s threequel, revealing, “I don’t even know when or if they’re shooting [Guardians of the Galaxy 3]. After the Avengers press tour, I kind of went and buried my head in the sand.”

Thor Actor Share his Experience

He also talked about how difficult a couple of movies in the franchise were on him. He said he felt trapped because the character was not deep enough.

“After I’d done Avengers and Thor 2, I did feel a bit trapped. It felt like I was typecast by whoever wrote the scripts” he admitted.

“I feel like the creators were stuck on where they could take [Thor] and was this all he had to offer? I felt there was so much more we could do.”

Another way that we can expect to see Thor again is with the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise.

At this point, there hasn’t been any official word, but fans and several media outlets have been talking about him popping up in the next movie. Currently, Men In Black: International is in theaters and has been going good.
