If you saw Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, then you have a new nightmare added to your sleep. The closing scene, with all the Dinosaurs unleashed on the world, still gives me the chills.

Jurassic Park Franchise

The sixth film in the Jurassic Park series and the third installment in the Jurassic World Trilogy, Jurassic World Dominion, has wrapped up shooting.

Even though the shooting is over, the movies like this take longer time in post-production work. But the reason for the new release date of the film being so far is not just that. The movie is scheduled to release on June 10, 2022, which is nearly one and a half years from now. One of the reasons is that it will have a lot of work to do, but it is also because only then can we be a little sure that things will go back to normal.

COVID-19 or COVID-19-22?

With Pfizer’s vaccine results giving us a nudge of happiness that everything will go back to normal real soon, we don’t think a massive franchise like Jurassic Park will risk that. With these kind of big movies, a whole lot of money is spent, and the investors will definitely try to get the profit out.

The shooting began in Canada in February 2020 and then moved to London in March. But the pandemic put a halt, and then after a small hiatus, the shot resumed in July 2020. Now, after four months of the shoot, the movie is finally wrapped up.

Expensive Protocols

Having to shoot during the pandemic that too without any cases on the set is something even bigger franchise like Batman failed to do. This set was somehow completely cautious, and they finally filmed the movie and finished it without any single case.

According to the director, at least 40,000 tests were taken in this span of four months and spent millions on protocols. Chris Pratt and the entire cast stayed in the bubble for a month before starting the shooting.

The new World Order

Even though we get to see the movie really late, we are excited to see how the new world order comes into motion now that the Dinosaurs are walking on the streets.

Frank Marshall, the movie producer, says that this will not be the end of the franchise and that it will just be a stepping stone that marks the new era. Now that the beasts are roaming on every street, will humans adjust to the new world order, where the Dinosaurs rule the people?
