What Was ONE Craziest Trivia About Marvel Cinematic Universe?

This is the craziest fact we learned from the Marvel Cinematic Universe Movie, and it adds a new layer of meaning to an entire scene, if not an entire movie.

Remember in the first Iron Man movie, when Tony was finally rescued and was in America? His very first request was for a cheeseburger.

Naturally, his request was granted, and he ate it while he held his press conference.

But there was more significance to that single Burger King cheeseburger than you think.

Before Robert Downey Jr. was a massive star with 200 million dollars from his Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, he was a struggling drug addict whose career was over.

However, Downey clearly remembers one moment that turned his life around.

And it was at Burger King.

Downey was driving with “tons of f–king dope” when he decided to stop at a fast food restaurant: Burger King.

He ordered a hamburger and, in his own words:

I ordered a disgusting burger, and I had this big soda, and I thought something really bad was going to happen.

The horrible taste of that burger cleared his head a little bit, and he dumped all of his drugs in the ocean, vowing to end his addiction.

That is why that scene was in the movie: to commemorate Robert Downey Jr.’s transformation from a hopeless drug addict to Tony Stark.
