Deadpool 3 Begins Filming Prep With Avengers Art Director

As Marvel Studios moves deeper into Phase 4, interest in the studio’s upcoming projects is growing, including Fantastic Four, Thunder, the Young Avengers project and of course Deadpool 3. In fact, of all the upcoming movies on this list, fans have heard the most much about the Ryan Reynolds trilogy. They don’t know when they might see it.

After Deadpool in 2016 and Deadpool 2 in 2018, the franchise was interrupted by the purchase of Fox by Disney, leaving viewers wondering if the Merc with a Mouth would be filmed or adapted to the Mouse House and MCU. Disney and Marvel Studios, along with Deadpool 3’s writers, allayed those fears by assuring fans that they would “let Deadpool be Deadpool,” and Freeman and Stranger Things director Sean Levy joined in. However, even with these updates, there’s still no word on when the cameras will launch. But now, thanks to a new report, it looks like Wade Wilson’s MCU debut is moving forward with a seasoned Marvel Studios veteran.

According to Discussing Film, Deadpool 3 is in production with Ryan Reynolds as the production designer for The Avengers, Raymond Chan and Threequel. Although Deadpool 3 is Wade Wilson’s first MCU film, Raymond Chan has a long and illustrious history in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In addition to serving as art director on Thor: The Dark World, Doctor Strange, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, he won an Art Directors Guild Award for his work on Guardians of the Galaxy”. Chan first reprized his role as production designer on Avengers: Endgame before moving on to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier for Disney+.

The news that Chen has joined Reynolds’ third run as the Merc with a Mouth is good news for Deadpool fans. While little has been released about the film’s progress, this report is in pre-production and ongoing, suggesting that the Deadpool trilogy may be closer to filming than fans first thought.

Also, thanks to Chan’s extensive work in the MCU, Deadpool 3 is in good hands. In addition to his experience, all studies of Marvel, in which he worked, differed from others and had an endless war and the end of various characters and places on Earth and Galaxy.

That is why you can easily say that the sun knows how to get unique and unique things and combine them into current MCU branches. If Marvel is part of the cinematic world, Deadpool 3 needs it. It remains to be seen exactly how this relationship will work out, or if Deadpool will leave the MCU. However, with more details on the subject and news on the release date, Marvel Studios is expected to make further announcements at September’s D23 conference in Anaheim, California, in preparation for production.
