Did Dragon Help Shank’s Mom?
The recent spoilers of One Piece 1159th chapter have revealed more depths into the God Valley incident.

Who Is Shank’s Mom?
In the recent chapters of the One Piece manga, we got to see that Shanks also comes from God Valley. We are unsure about how many such powerful clans existed there.
Both Shanks and Shamrock’s father have been revealed to be Saint Garling Figarland, and we see him stab their mother, a beautiful, long-red-haired lady, with a sword and declaring that he was about to marry Shakky, who was the prize of the God Valley tournament.
Did Dragon Help Shank’s Mom?
After being stabbed by Garling Figarland, Shank’s mother is seen in a house, bleeding, and Dragon is the one who finds her.
She pleads with him to take her children away from the island and not let their father have them.
Back then, Dragon was just a navy soldier and surely did not have the power to fight big names like Saint Garling Figarland.
But we do know that Shanks was found by the Roger crew after their big fight with Rocks. So maybe Dragon managed to at least help a little.
That would make more sense as to why Shanks always docked in the no-name East Blue Village, where Luffy grew up.
Who is Luffy’s Mom?
Some claim that Luffy’s mom might be related to Amazon Lilly. With Shakky having such an unexpected role to play in the past, many seem to find another character named Tritoma in the flashback to be Luffy’s mother.
In the flashback, we see some new Kuja Pirate faces, and one of them is introduced as the Empress after 2 generations, Tritoma.
At first, while Gloriosa was the captain, she is seen delivering the fan letters that came for both her and Shakky, but later, when Shakky decided to live on the Pirate Island, she sends her off and becomes the Empress of Amazon Lilly.
If the speculations are true, this might make Rayleigh Luffy’s uncle from his mom’s side.
The speculation is based on the fact that Kuma sent Luffy to Amazon Lilly, so it might be completely wrong too.
