Halsey Expresses Anger On Allure Magazine: “#NoMorePress Goodbye”
The anger of Halsey on Allure Magazine is no joke. The Without Me singer did a photoshoot and interview for the August issue of the magazine but the outcome has been a drastic disaster.
The cover of August’s issue of Allure Magazine features a pregnant Halsey as well as her views on motherhood. In the article of her interview with the magazine, the singer had a lot to be angry about and it had to do with misquoting them and their pronouns.

The 26-year-old singer recently gave birth to her firstborn Ender Ridley Aydin. She has shared the news of her pregnancy and her journey of trying to get pregnant openly in her social media channels with fans. Halsey has also announced that she goes by the pronouns “she/they” on her Instagram.

The singer said that the final released article of the magazine quoted her words and twisted them out of context. The Bad At Love singer also expressed their anger upon the use of only “she/her” pronouns and completely omitting “they”.
Halsey took the “disrespecting of pronouns” very seriously and called the writers out for their blunt mistakes. “hey @Allure_magazine. First your writer made a focal point in my cover story my pronouns and you guys deliberately disrespected them by not using them in the article,” she tweeted.

The pop star also called them out for twisting her story about being a privileged kid of being a white child of a black parent into something else. A certain article was promoted by Allure Magazine by using her quotes out of context. “I hate doing press because I get exploited and misquoted,” she said in her tweet and called attention to that article promotion.

Later, the 26-year-old also concluded her statement with a short tweet stating that she probably won’t be doing interviews with the press from now on. “#NoMorePress Goodbye,” she wrote.
