- In this episode, we see Kana struggling with the upcoming provisional licensing exams. Her friends Reimi and Hibiki try to help her prepare, and while they believed they made improvements, all three of them seem dejected on the day of the exam.
- Ria Karasuma also notices the emotional toll the exam has taken on her students. She comes up with a plan to clear their heads and enrolls them in a neighborhood sporting competition.
- During this event, Sonia badmouths Ria and after Reimi hears it, the rest of the tournament becomes all about Reimi and friends trying to beat Sonia and her friend.
- There’s also a fun moment where Kana takes part in a sprint & eat event. Though Kana isn’t very athletic, her strength in eating more than makes up for it and she wins the competition.
- And Reimi takes second place. She works up her courage to offer the stuffed animal she won to her sensei, Ria.
- Ria responds with a huge smile and gives Reimi a big warm hug saying she loves the gift. This endearing scene may very well be the highlight of the entire episode!
