To Your Eternity: Hikaru Utada is the singer of theme song ‘Pink Blood’

Popular Japanese-American Hikaru Utada is now responsible for the song “Pink Blood”, which will be the theme song of the upcoming anime “To Your Eternity”. The announcement was made on the official website for the anime.

This is the first time Utada has worked on the theme song for a TV anime series. She is known for her work for the “Kingdom Hearts” video game franchise, for songs like “Simple and Clean,” “Automatic,” and “Don’t Think Twice.”

“To Your Eternity” will start broadcasting on NHK E-Tele on April 12.  The latest PV of “To Your Eternity” will be released soon, on both the official program website and on “NHK Anime World”.

“To Your Eternity”—or “Fumetsu no Anata e”—is Yoshitoki Ōima’s manga. It was scheduled for an anime with an October 2020 release, but was inevitably delayed due to COVID-19.

Crunchyroll has the English releases of the 2016 manga, and will be airing all 20 episodes of the anime as well.
