Is Marco Immortal? God Valley Mysteries Deepen
The God Valley flashback is stirring fans across the world, and many do not even want to return to the current timeline, which is understandable.
One Piece Chapter 1162 revealed many mysteries, but what shocked the most was the fact that Marco was seen amidst the fight in God Valley.
What is Marco’s Real Age?
Marco’s age now in One Piece’s current timeline is 45, and the God Valley incident happened 38 years ago. We can confirm that it was not 7-year-old Marco who was seen in the fight.
The rumour mills are churning, and the verdict is that Marco might be the first-ever Phoenix Fruit user.
The words uttered by Marco: “Once again, I survived” have always been related to how he has survived various battles from the Marinford to Wano, but now, with him appearing in the God Valley flashback, it seems to have more depth to it.
Phoenix has always been connected to rebirths, and Marco, the Phoenix fruit user, may have inherited that power along with the healing powers.
This theory also states that Marco might be the first Phoenix Fruit user ever since the Devil Fruit was created, and that makes him one of the oldest characters in the One Piece world.
But if these theories are true, we have yet to see if Marco retains all his memories after every rebirth.
Just a fight sequence in the manga is not enough to hold all these theories as canon, but these rumours don’t seem unfounded. Let’s wait for more updates.
