Jujutsu Kaisen: All The Powers and Abilities of Nobara Kugisaki
The first season of Jujutsu Kaisen has come to an end recently, and fans are already looking forward to the events of the next season.
However, this will take a while to happen. So why not use this time to learn more about the anime characters?
Today, we’ll be explaining the abilities and powers of Nobara Kugisaki.
Great pain tolerance
Nobara, like the other Sorcerers, showed a high pain tolerance. During her fight against Eso and Kechizu, not only did she endure their Decomposition Technique, she also pierced her own arm with nails in order to attack her enemies using her Resonance skill. Some of these nails were even fully inserted into her wrist, and even this pain was not enough to stop it.
Great tactical intellect
Nobara has a great understanding of Jujutsu and carefully analyzes the best way to face his opponents. This is due to the fact that your Inborn Technique is very complicated and needs a strategy to be used effectively.
Nobara’s tactical thinking appeared in basically every fight she participated in, and always allows her to gain the advantage in one on one fights.

Cursed Energy Manipulation – Black Flash (Kokusen)
This technique creates a spatial distortion when the user comes into contact with the impact of cursed energy in a 0.000001 window of a physical attack.
This phenomenon causes the cursed energy to create a black flash, resulting in an attack with 2.5x the power of a normal strike. Nobara learned to use the Black Glare during her fight against Kechizu, and has only used the technique once until today.
Innate Technique – Straw Doll Technique (Surei Junho)
Nobara’s Inborn Technique allows her to use a straw doll to attack her opponent from a distance. She does this by throwing her nails from afar after hitting them with her hammer. Upon hitting a curse, Nobara’s cursed energy envelops the nails and increases in size, exorcising the curse in the process.
Resonance (Tomonari)
By placing his straw doll on top of some part of the curse’s body, Nobara is able to connect the doll and the curse, so that the curse will feel whatever happens to the doll. Nobara usually inserts nails into the straw doll’s heart to end the curse in a single attack.
Hair Clip (Kanzashi)
Nobara spreads his nails on solid objects like trees, and then destroys those objects to control the battlefield.
