A Brief Recap of Kengan Omega Chapter 144:

The chapter begins with Erioh recalling his plan and it’s in this moment, we get to see a vulnerable side of him. After the menacing strike of Xing, Edward falls to the ground but it wasn’t enough to immobilize the man. It seems like he used removal on his artery where the poison was injected.

As Edward moves towards Erioh, everyone’s in a state of confusion and horror but not Raian. Seeing that Kure Raian is still alive, Edward just gets more furious and attacks him head-on. He uses his clan’s ultimate technique to wipe out any energy or courage left in Raian’s body.

The one-sided brawl gets nasty as Raian is on the receiving end of deadly knockout punches with blood all over his face. However, he still doesn’t back down and puts up a fight against Edward. Again, everyone is thrown in a state of confusion as Raian constantly throws punches against Edward.

Looking at the gory fight, Erioh says a very surprising yet plausible thing. He says that Raian is the man who would have defeated him even if he was in his prime. And in the next moment, we see Raian ghastly pinching Edward’s injured arteries with his finger.

What Can You Expect From The Next Chapter?

With Kure Raian entering the demon mode, things went crazy. Not to mention, the old man’s plan didn’t go in vain. However, will this stop Edward from breathing and stomping his opponents? I heavily doubt that, given the reputation of Edward Wu.
