About Kengan Omega

Kengan omega is the sequel to the hit martial art manga Kengan Ashura written by Sandrovich Yabako and illustrated by Daromeon. The story is set two years after the game-changing Kengan Annihilation Tournament on Ganryu Island. It follows the path of an aspiring fighter Koga Narushima and the mysterious Ryuki Gaoh as they are tangled up in the underground world of the Kengan matches.

Kengan Omega Chapter 178 Recap

The chapter begins with Leonardo and Koga being led from the ring. Leonardo knows that Koga has gotten better and that this time he lost the fight. On his way out, Koga runs into Ohma, who congratulates and compliments him on breaking free from the rear naked choke with the Ironbreaker fist. Furthermore, he offers to teach Koga one more move before the next match, which Koga agrees to.

The scene shifts and we see Toyoda Idemitsu, Kata-Hara Metsudo, Nodi Hideki, Kata-Hara Retsudo, Kure Horio, and Wu Xing. During their meeting, they discuss a forbidden technique as a last resort to increase their fighting chance against the Westward Faction and the Worm. The forbidden technique is said to remove any physical restraints and boost the release rate of the physical bodies. However, it is stated that only a few have achieved a 100% release rate. Both the Westward faction and the Worm, according to Retsudo, may be working for a mastermind known as the Connector! Kata-Hara Metsudo is startled upon hearing this, seemingly knowing something.

Meanwhile, in another scene within the crowd, Yamashita Kazuo and Shen Wulong, the connector, are chatting. The latter introduces himself, hands the former a business card, and asks for his name. Shen Wulong recalls Xia Yan telling him not to reveal his true identity, so he introduces himself as Jackie Lee. Suddenly, the light goes out, signaling the start of the fourth match. We see “The Emperor” Adam Dudley first, and then “The Dragon King” Goah Ryuki entering the ring. The height and weight disparity between the two players are depicted. Kiryu Setsuna observes the scene and remarks, “It’s feeding time, Ryuki.” Hence, the chapter concludes with the players assuming their fighting stances.
