Marvel in Talks to Bring Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in Avengers: Doomsday

Good news seems to be finding its way to Marvel fans recently, and the latest is the return of Wolverine.

Will Wolverine be in Doomsday?

It is the Multiverse, anything is possible. But this is not just a hunch, according to some insiders, Marvel is in talks with Hugh Jackman for his return as Wolverine in Doomsday.

Recently, it was reported that Tobey Maguire will also be returning as Spider-Man in the upcoming film, Avengers: Doomsday. Fans are certain that this isn’t just a rumour, as some claim to have seen him on set.

We need not worry about the death of Wolverine in Logan, given that now everything and anything is possible with the Multiverse. Still, Hugh Jackman’s return after his recent appearance in Deadpool is not completely impossible.

According to Marvel, after Secret Wars, Marvel will focus on mutants, which is enough for us to think that Wolverine’s appearance in Doomsday is possible to set the mutant saga in motion.

Magneto Will Appear in Doomsday

It is already confirmed that Magneto will appear in Doomsday, and not just anyone, but Sir Ian McKellen, who was last seen as Magneto in 2014’s X-Men: Days of Future Past, is said to return one last time for Doomsday.

There are reports that this will be his last role before he retires from acting.

After looking at the villain lineup for Doomsday, we can tell for sure that the Avengers will need every help they can get, so if Wolverine were to return, it would be of massive help.

While Magneto and Tobey Maguire’s return has more credibility than Hugh Jackman’s return, let’s not lose hope just yet.
