Mission: Yozakura Family Chapter 99 Recap
Here’s what you missed in the previous chapter of Mission: Yozakura Family.
Taiyo’s scream wakes up the Yozakura household. He is shocked to see Kyochiro transformed into his younger self.
Mutsumi walks into the room as she wonders what all the commotion is about. She follows up with a scream as well.
Kyochiro recalls what might have led to this turn of events. He remembers waking up to two bottles in front of him. One labeled with a precautionary warning and the other a normal supplement. His older self accidentally ate the medicine that shrunk him. As a result, he turned into his six-year-old self.
He then turns towards Mutsumi and praises her for growing up into a fine lady. He further congratulates her for getting married and living a happy life. Mutsumi is left in tears seeing how pure and honest Kyochiro was when he was little.
Kyochiro goes around showering the inmates of the house with praises leaving them all mushy and flustered. The house turns lively as everyone can’t seem to get enough of small Kyochiro.
At an emotional end to the day, Kyochiro confides with Taiyo that their mom has passed away. He had noticed an unnamed grave with his mom’s flower, Blue Carnation. At times, he feels sacred being the oldest sibling of the family. He fathoms the responsibility of taking care of the family and becoming an unpleasant person in the process.
However, Taiyo reassures Kyochiro that he will not become the person he thinks he will be. Rather, he will become someone stronger than anyone and trusted by all. Taiyo adds that he will support him as Matsumi’s husband.
The next day, Kyochiro wakes up to his usual self. He does not seem to remember the events that occurred the other day. Meanwhile, the Yozakura household remains as lively as ever.
