MJ Will Have A New Boyfriend in Spiderman: Brand New Day

With Avengers Doomsday filming all wrapped up, Spider-Man: Brand New Day set is in full swing, and we have rumours swirling around a potential DC and Marvel crossover.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day faced a minor setback when Tom Holland, who plays the role of Peter Parker, the main protagonist, was injured on set and was rushed to the hospital.

While he will be taking a week of rest, the remaining crew are on the grind as usual. The latest news from the set is that Zendaya’s MJ, who was the love interest of Peter Parker in the last film, will be moving on to a new one.

As much as we enjoyed the previous Spider-Man: No Way Home with the much-needed crossovers thanks to the Multiverse, it was a traumatic event for Peter Parker.

At the end of the film, we saw Peter Parker saving the world, and in exchange, he was erased from the memory of most of his loved ones. That includes MJ, his girlfriend at that time.

In the new sequel, Brand New Day, we have yet to see how their dynamic will be after the memory erasure events, but pictures from set show that MJ has moved on and has a new boyfriend.

Now, in a twist of fate, it will be played by Robert Pattinson, aka the Batman. This was not the Spider-Man Vs Batman scenario we were hoping for, but we guess this should do for now.

While it will be a treat to see Robert Pattinson on the Marvel screen, we really hope MJ returns to Peter tho, give him a happy ending for heaven’s sake man!!
