Sakura Haruno is one of the main characters and a skilled medical shinobi in Masashi Kishimoto’s famed Naruto series. She was originally introduced as a Team 7’s member alongside Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha.
Here is everything you need to know about Sakura’s Genjutsu.
What is a genjutsu?
Genjutsu is a classification of Jutsu that uses chakra and hand seals. However, unlike ninjutsu, the techniques of genjutsu affect the victim’s brain.
In simple words, when a ninja uses genjutsu it creates an illusion in the victim’s brain that might stun him in one place. Moreover, while it is not something real, genjutsu is strong enough to destroy the mental abilities of a person.
More about Sakura’s genjutsu
Saku is extremely skilled at using genjutsu as she has precise control over the chakra. Furthermore, she has an extraordinary talent to use varied techniques up to their maximum limit without a single chakra.
Kakashi Hatake, her Jonin leader has previously noted that she has the ability to summon chakra from different parts of her body and utilize them at the correct time. Thus far, Sakura has mostly used the technique for dispelling genjutsu.
For instance, she once stored up chakra for three years in the same place. Subsequently, she was able to conduct Byakugou no Jutsu (White Strength Seal) without turning her appearance to look younger.
Additionally, during the Chunin Exams arc, she was among the rare ninjas to break the sleep-inducing genjutsu of Kabuto. Moreover, she has acquired a firm grasp of the technique ever since.
Meanwhile, in The Last: Naruto the Movie, she successfully managed to resist a powerful genjutsu. She also helped Naruto when she continuously poured chakra into him for two straight days which eventually saved his life.
Hence, she is noted to have a natural talent for genjutsu because of her impeccable control over the chakra.
