One Piece Chapter 1026 Recap

Here’s what happened in the previous chapter, One Piece Chapter 1026.

The Fire Festival in the Flower Capital of Wano continues to go on in full swing. Everyone is celebrating at the Flower capital unannounced of the danger beckoning them. 

The chapter picks up from when Momonosuke goes through Kaidou. Momo reminds Kaidou that it was his fault for destroying Wanokuni and making his parents suffer. 

Luffy comes to the aid of Momo and slams into Kaidou with a powerful right hand. He compliments Momo for attacking Kaidou and helps the frightened Momonosuke to overcome his fears and encourages Momo to help him defeat Kaidou.

Meanwhile, Inurashi reverts to his human form in the treasure room. Jack notices the change in the sky and believes that the dragons are responsible for summoning the thunderstorm. This has caused Nekomamushi and Inaurashi to lose strength and lose their sulong form as the moon is no longer visible.

Luffy orders Momonosuke to stop Onigashima from falling on the flower capital. He then gives Kaidou his word that he will be taking him down. Big Mom laughs after hearing what Luffy had just said.  

On the roof, Luffy continues his fight with Kaidou. Kaidou transforms into a hybrid form and goes after Luffy. He uses kanbo against Luffy, who blocks it with his fist. They both unleash “ Color of the Supreme King Haki” on each other, which causes the sky to split up.

This makes the moon visible again and Nekomamushi and Inaurashi return to their sulong forms. They then use “Oden Ittoryu-Oden’s One Sword Style”, finally managing to take down Jack and Perospero. In the end, we see Orochi peeking from a door. He remarks that their defeat is meaningless to him.

One Piece Chapter 1027 Spoilers

With the defeat of Jack and Perospero, we can expect the upcoming chapter to now shift focus to the battle between Sanji and Zoro against the remaining members of the All Stars, King and Queen. 

We may get to see another interesting development as Momonosuke attempts to halt Onigashima from falling on the Flower Capital. 

It leaves us questioning whether Kaidou’s plan for the new Onigashima Plan will succeed or will it be the last battle for Kaidou and his subordinates?
