About Platinum End

Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata created the manga series Platinum End. It was serialised in Shueisha’s Jump Square monthly magazine from November 2015 to January 2021.

It is a series about a student named Mirai Kakehashi who attempts suicide but is saved by his guardian angel, Nasse, who not only promises to protect him but also bestows special powers upon him because he is one of 13 candidates chosen by various angels to take on the role of God, who will retire in 999 days.

Recap of Platinum End Episode 20

Metropoliman finally got what he deserves.

It’s quite a mystery as to how they figured out Mirai and Saki’s identities in the first place. Everyone thought those disguises were foolproof Mirai is actually easy to notice because he got his Uncle to go to jail and his Aunt committed suicide out of guilt.

They need to silence the uncle before he starts exposing that he got shot by a red arrow. Some viewers feel sorry for Kanade as there are people who shoot him with red arrows and take advantage of his ruthlessness in the game, but fortunately, the main character is quite well developed. One more truth is that Mirari was shot by Mukaido’s red arrow, so in reality, Mirari was forced to follow Mukaido’s orders to hold Kanade (Metropoliman) in place so he could kill him. Mirari didn’t really have a “characters development” since it wasn’t his own doing to have Kanade killed.
