The Rising Of The Shield Hero Leaks! Season 2 delayed till 2022
Here are some new The Rising Of The Shield Hero leaks that all fans must be aware of. The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 will be delayed till April 2022. This announcement came on Thursday. The anime is supposed to release in October 2021.
Masato Jinbo is directing the second season of the anime. He is replacing Takao Abo. Crunchyroll also announced that the anime will be having a second and third season.
Previously on the Rising of the Shield Hero, Naofumi warps to the mysterious world of Melromarc. He and four others from Earth are regarded as ‘Cardinal Heroes’. He is also the Shield hero.

They have been summoned to defend the kingdom from the Waves, which are hordes of demons. However, early on Naofumi is accused of rape and is defamed. Thus, he becomes skeptical and does not trust anyone.
He purchases companions from a slave trader. The two companions, Raphtalia and Filo, are demi-humans. He trains to grow stronger and eventually wins the trust of the locals.
The first season is just the origin story of the Shield Hero. The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 should cover:
- Devil of the Shield Arc
- Spirit Turtle Arc
- Fallen Heroes Arc
- Otherworld Arc
All of these arcs are from the light novel and web novel series. However, there is a high possibility that the anime may take a different direction. So far there are two separate canons to the series. The light novel and web novel both differ drastically in their canon.
