Shrek 5 Delayed Because TikTok Fan Guessed The Full Plot

In a bizarre twist, fans who were expecting Shrek 5 to premiere soon may have caused the delay, too.

Initially, Shrek 5 was said to have a June 2026 premiere date, and fans were excited to have their favourite character return after 16 years of wait since the last Shrek movie in 2010.

But there were some delays in the middle, and Shrek 5 was pushed to December of 2026. But now, for whatever reason, the movie was pushed back again and will hit the screen on June 30, 2027.

While there may be many reasons behind the push, initially, fans thought that it might be because of many high-budget movies dropping next December, like Avengers: Doomsday, but now some think it is more than that.

Fans on Reddit and TikTok who were expecting the movie so much had made wild guesses on the movie’s plot, and some think that they have guessed the plot to the dot, and that is why they had to push the production.

Recently, a TikTok video went viral, which had a fan guessing the entire plot, and many seem to think that the plot was accurate, as the production delay news came shortly after.

The fans on Reddit have guessed the same plot where Shrek might play an overprotective dad in the movie where his teenage daughter is just learning to explore, and that might cause them to cross horns with each other, and at the end of the movie, Shrek might learn to be a good dad.

While the plot seems like a wild guess, it is normal to expect that too, as there is not much to talk about anymore. While some are complaining that they wanted it sooner, some just find all of this hilarious.
