Franchises like Marvel, DC are a huge success thanks to unyielding fans and their never-ending love to spin fan theories.

Thank You, Fans!

While half of the time they might get it alarmingly right, the other half they are way off. But, both ways, fans are happy doing that and always looking forward to seeing how close they were, thus giving studios like Marvel and DC a massive advantage over others.

This has been the trend ever since the comics have been made into movies, and it has been growing massively now. Some people spend lots of time reading comics, source materials, and things to keep their theory more accurate.

It’s not like they just start to spin theories; fans take these kinds of stuff way more seriously than some think and dedicate their time to be clear on facts; that’s the reason why they get it right most of the time.

Live-Action Multiverse movie or not?

Well, the theory surrounding Spider-Man 3 that has made fans go crazy is the live-action multiverse theory. Fans have been waiting eagerly for someone in Marvel or Sony to confirm that, but they are too careful never to do that.

It looks like both the companies don’t want to confirm the theory but also don’t want to stop giving the fans hope about it. Because when you look at it, let it be Sony or Marvel, they never deny it whenever they are asked these questions. They simply answer it differently.

Tricky answers

No matter what they come up with, in the end, fans get this ray of hope from their answer that maybe they are quite right. Either Marvel and Sony think if not, fans will go crazy and are stringing them along, or they just don’t want to spoil the fun of finding out when the movie releases.

But either way, it doesn’t look like fans are calming down. Recently in an interview, Kevin Feige was asked this question, and as usual, his answer didn’t confirm the theory, neither did it reject it.

“I’ve read some things. I’m not sure I’ve read all things. The fun thing about online speculation when it comes to our stuff is how sometimes it couldn’t be more off the mark, and sometimes it’s shockingly close, and that’s held for the last few years. But saying which is which would take all the fun out of everything.”

So, again we are back to square one, “Will Spider-Man 3 be a live-action Multiverse movie?” Well, only time will tell!
