- In Chapter 63, the Westalis Intelligence is given the responsibility to protect John Wellman as well as the integrity of his mission.
- John Wellman, a former opera singer of the East, is to go on a trip to the West. His mission is to promote peace between the two states.
- The effects of far-right tabloids publishing sensationalized articles dragging Wellman’s name, reach even the Westalis Intelligence headquarters. The rookie cannot separate his opinion from what the tabloids say. So, he is against Jonas Wellman coming to the West.
- The next morning all the allegations thrown at Jonas Wellman are rebutted and his name is publicly cleared. The rookie is similarly affected as by the previous news.
- It is the same morning as noted on the death threat. If the assassination happens, it would be in a public place. The location is to be the Opera House where Jonas Wellman is currently in.
- Meanwhile, the Intelligence is actively monitoring the place. The Handler looks at the security team and points out the one who looks suspicious. Turns out he is the man behind the assassination plan.
- The Handler and her people manage to take the assassin down. After this, Wellman is cleared to go through with his trip to the West.
