Yuko Yoshida awakens one day with horns and a tail, learning that she is the descendant of a dark clan condemned into poverty by the opposing light clan. Yuko is charged with beating the town’s native magical girl, Momo Chiyoda, in order to restore her clan’s dignity.

The Demon Girl Next Door Season 2 Episode 2 Recap
The episode opens with a humorous comedic scene between Shamiko and her sister Ryo. In the scene, Ryo can be seen reading a Chinese book on annihilation to help Shamiko successfully execute her evil plots against Momo.
At the same time, in this exchange of words and gestures between Shamiko and Lilith, the latter demands that Shamiko come nude to school as part of Shamiko’s rebellious schemes against the whole of humanity. When Shamiko’s mother drinks, the three of them discuss Mikan’s background, their fruit processing facility.
They also speculate how it could be possibly related to the curse that has transformed Shamiko’s father into a fruit box. The three of them agree to meet the next morning at the abandoned fruit processing business.
Shamiko is taken aback when she hears a voice in her brain pointing her to a buried magical wand. When is Shamiko is showing Mikan and Momo the wand, he finds it converted into a little fork. Shamiko’s mother verifies that the fork and the magic wand are identical.
