Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker, The First Film In Star Wars series

Set to release on December 20, 2019, The Rise of Skywalker has been a challenging film. This is mostly due to Carrie Fisher’s tragic death. It is also because of this that the script needed to be written again, with dramatic changes in it. Moreover, the exit of director Colin Trevorrow in September 2017 also made matter worse.

J.J. Abrams finally took over the project. Abrams also took the helm in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. And the director now aims to bring the story to a satisfying close.

Kevin Feige’s Star Wars Movie, As Part Of The Upcoming Star Wars Movies

After the success of Endgame, reports suggest that Marvel president Kevin Feige is working with Lucasfilm. The two are collaborating on a new Star Wars film, which will be one amongst the many Upcoming Star Wars Movies. There is little knowledge about the project as of now. Regardless, we do know that Feige has already talked to at least one actor about a role.

This also suggests that the project may already be in the early stages of development.

Star Wars Movies Also Includes A Star Wars Trilogy By Benioff & Weiss

As announced in February 2018, Game of Thrones’ showrunner David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are developing a new movie series on Star Wars. Reports also state that the series will be in the form of a trilogy. Fans also believe that this trilogy will take place in the Old Republic. The timeline will be hundreds of years before the original trilogy.

A Rian Johnson’s Star Wars Trilogy, As Part Of The star wars movie series

Rian Johnson has previously worked on Star Wars: The Last Jedi. And Lucasfilm has clearly been very impressed by him. Therefore, in November 2017, the two announced that Johnson would launch a new Star Wars trilogy. The trilogy will be outside the Skywalker saga and a part of the Upcoming Star Wars Movies.

Johnson is still drafting a story for the trilogy as of now.

The Star Wars Movies That Are Cancelled:

In addition to all the abovementioned movies, there are several movies that are officially canceled. All of these films, at one point or another, we’re supposedly in production by Lucasfilm. But due to some reasons, they are all not happening anymore.
