The Mandalorian 2 And All We Know About It

Mandalorian season 2 will premiere on Oct 30

Mandalorian Season 2

The Mandalorian is back with season 2, and we cannot contain our excitement. The 2019 Emmy nominated superhit is all set to come back to Disney+ on October 30, 2020.

The Mandalorian

The first season of the show was such a big hit because of the super cute Baby Yoda. After it’s release Baby Yoda, rose to become a cultural sensation. It was a happier time. What 2020 desperately needs is a dose of Baby Yoda, and season 2 promises more.

The show follows the titular character Din Djarin, now traveling as a clan of two with his new founding, a.k.a Baby Yoda has managed to escape the clutches of Imperial officer Moff Gideon and the last of the stormtroopers.

The biggest twist of season one came right before credits rolled out where we see Moff Gideon is the possession of the Darksaber, a legendary Mandalorian artifact.

The cast

Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni

Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni return as the directors of the show. The returning cast members include Pedro Pascal, reprising his role of Mandalorian, along with Gina Carano as Cara Dune, the ex- Rebel shock trooper, and Carl Weathers as Greef Karga, the leader of the bounty hunters guild.

The new addition to the cast includes Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano, a force wielding fan-favorite warrior. Can’t is a recurring character in the Star Wars franchise. The other additions are Michael Biehn, playing the role of a bounty hunter, Temuera Morrison, rumored to play the Boba Fett.

Boba Fett’s character was teased in the season one of the shows, and Timothy Olyphant, who will reportedly be bringing the character Cobb Vanth, a sheriff from the Star Wars novels, to the silver screen.

What to expect

Well, the great expectation of the new season will probably be more cute Baby Yoda moments. Apart from that, there are many loose ends for the directors to tie up from the first season. The biggest of all is the presence of the legendary Darksaber, and the appearance of Boba Fett’s character has sparked much rumor among the fans.

At the end of season one, we saw the Mandalorian vowing to find Baby Yoda’s home. So there is a high possibility that season 2 will focus on their journey to Yoda’s home planet. It is such a relief that the shooting of the season commenced earlier and therefore was not affected by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Season 2 of The Mandalorian will be a treat to the fans who were highly expecting its return. It has also been reported that the show might be renewed for another season: the more Baby Yoda, the merrier.
