The Witcher Season 2 Updates: Henry Cavill Films in Frensham Little Pond, Surrey

After a small bump in the shooting due to COVID, the filming of the hit Netflix show, The Witcher, season 2, has resumed and is in full swing with every precaution.

Frensham Little Pond

As reported by Redanian Intelligence, the cast of The Witcher has started to appear early in the morning to shoot the scenes on a set that has been prepared for quite some time now.

The shooting location is Frensham Little Pond, Surrey, and the series star, Henry Cavill, was seen on set early in the morning with the other crew members.

Off To The Countryside

According to an Instagram account of Sarah Talib, a local who have shared some pictures and videos of the set, it appears to be a rural area shoot with farm animals and wagons.

 And a video is seen with two characters from the series walking past a wagon. While some speculate it is Jaskier and Yennefer, it’s is not clear who it exactly is. If it’s them, then what is going on?  Some also say it might be Anya Chalotra because of the attire; let us know in the comments if you have any clue.

Dusty Roads of Surrey

The filming in the Frensham Little Pond area is now mostly set in the wooded, hilly regions. You could see a video where the wagons are being pulled on a dusty road and the countryside setting of goats grazing nearby.

According to some pictures and reports, it is said that Tom Canton’s Filavandrel may also be present in the scene as an Elf with a luxurious blonde wig was spotted. With the dusty road, the foggy climate, and from the distance of the video been taken, it’s hard to say anything for sure.

Revised Nilfgaardian Armor

In what seems to be a revised Nilfgaardian armor, two soldiers were seen blocking the road and standing guard. With the distance these soldiers were seen from the main action point, it is unsure if the scenes are connected or if they were just filming a whole different scene.

Also, since it’s the revised armor, we know it will be in the latter part of the series. According to sources, the crew that was seen filming in the Kaer Morgen set earlier will be filming here in this location until November 26, 2020.

Due to the second wave in the UK, the shooting areas are entirely made sure to keep the crew and the actors safe. SO, those who go to get these pictures, please take the necessary precautions too.
