The World’s Finest Assassin returned this Wednesday for the penultimate episode. So, next week, we’ll be diving into the final episode. In Episode 11, the stakes are raised high as Lugh is assigned a mission to assassinate Dia whom he loves.

The World’s Finest Assassin Episode 12 is scheduled to release on Wednesday, December 22nd, 2021.

Recap of The World’s Finest Assassin Episode 11

Episode 11 begins with Lugh’s father assigning him a new mission, which is to assassinate Dia Viecone, the woman Lugh loves. Lugh’s father took upon the mission as he has a favor that he needs to repay to Count Viecone, Dia’s father who requested the assassination. But thankfully, the assassination is only going to be a disguise.

In reality, the plan is to save Dia and let her escape but make it look to the public as though she gets killed. So it’s basically a rescue mission disguised as an assassination.

Talte volunteers herself to help take off Lugh’s load during his journey by using wind magic, so that he can save up his stamina and mana for the battle ahead. Lugh realizes that Talte is doing her best to take on his burden and he’s appreciative of her efforts.

As Talte reaches her limit while they run, she asks Lugh if he’s in love with Dia and tells him to come home safely along with Dia. This scene is bittersweet as we watch Talte, who is in love with Lugh, burn herself out to help Lugh save the other woman he loves.

And the reveal that she has been aware all along that Lugh has been using her is made even more sad as she still, nonetheless, embraces her role as a tool to help Lugh.

As for the goddess, she’s wrapped up in the business of reincarnating others per usual. The episode then ends with Lugh successfully maneuvering his way through the rebels camped outside, and reunites with a relieved Dia who is locked up inside.

What Can We Expect from The World’s Finest Assassin Episode 12? 

There are no spoilers available yet. The title of the upcoming episode is “Battle of Assassin”. In the next episode, we can expect to see Lugh carrying out his carefully thought out plans to save Dia.

Also, the after credit scene shows Maha receiving information. But it doesn’t seem like good news from the look on her face. So we’ll probably find out what Maha discovered in the upcoming episode.
