Since Tom Hiddleston’s big-screen debut in 2011 Thor, we’ve seen him wear different variants of his classic green suit. Though there have been quite a few changes over the years, namely Thor: Ragnarok’s green suit has been mingled with a bit of blue, but they are mostly the same. Fortunately for Loki, who needs to diversify his wardrobe, artist Alexei Bricklatt shares the concept art of a Trickster wearing a regal outfit.
The new concept art sees Tom Hiddleston’s beloved villain-turned-anti-hero wearing a suit fit for kings. Be sure to swipe to the right to see Hiddleston’s mischievous Norse god wearing an extravagant headpiece.

While waiting for the Loki tv show with the awesome @twhiddleston here are some more Loki concept arts done for Thor : Ragnarok. On this one the shoulder was maybe too Close to another super hero living underwater. But my take was mostly focusing on a raw and believable style focusing on worn fabrics, leather, fur…for creating a sense of history. Better with or without the helmet? – #loki #marvelstudios #mcu #phase4 #marvelcinematicuniverse #marvel #characterdesign #conceptart #thorragnarok #thor #timhiddleston
As stated in the caption, this concept art was going for a more lived-in costume that showed off the Norse culture. The outfit certainly feels more believable and historically accurate than what we’ve previously seen him wear. It’s quite surprising that Hiddleston’s Loki, despite being the most extravagant and loud character, is always wearing the most sobering, plain clothes. Should this costume art have been chosen for Thor: Ragnarok, we’re certain that Loki’s character would have shined through even more if that’s even possible.
