Tom Holland Will Not Be In Avengers Doomsday
Those of you who were expecting to see an on-screen reunion of Iron Man and Spider-Man might have to wait longer, as rumours suggest that Tom Holland will not be in Avengers: Doomsday.
Avengers: Doomsday is possibly the biggest project of Marvel Studios after Avengers: Endgame, and the cast list alone shows how big the scale of the movie is set to be.
With the old and the new Avengers set to join forces to take on every villain in the Multiverse, the main antagonist will be played by Robert Downey Jr., who is set to make his Marvel comeback as Doctor Doom.
Robert Downey Jr, who played Iron Man for over a decade, was well-loved, and fans were heartbroken after his death in The Endgame. So, to heal our wounds, RDJ is making his return, but now with the same face and a whole lot of villainy.
Fans were expecting a lot from this, especially when Tom Holland’s Spider-Man meets Doctor Doom and sees that he has the same face as Tony Stark.
Will Spider-Man Be In Doomsday?
No, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will not be in Doomsday. A new Marvel insider rumour suggests that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will not be seen in Doomsday but will play a significant part in Avengers: Secret Wars.
Spider-Man and Loki are some of the post-Endgame characters who have played a major part in the MCU, so we are not sure how this will work without Peter Parker, but we guess Marvel might have different plans for the web-slinging hero.
We still have another shooting schedule left for Doomsday next April, so let’s not lose hope just yet. But this does not necessarily mean no Spider-Man will be seen in Doomsday; it is the Multiverse after all.
So, there are rumours that we might get to see Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield’s version of Spider-Man.
Now, all these are just rumours, so take them with a grain of salt…
