Who Is Black Beard’s Mother? Rocks’ Wife Eris!
In the recent One Piece Manga chapters, we have been given more info on one of the destroyed clans of old, the Davy Jones Clan.
These chapters also helped us get a better knowledge of the D clan, as we now know that “D” behind Rocks D Xebec and Marshal D Teach is not the same D as Luffy or Roger.
This clears the fact that there are no villains in the “D” clan for now.
Who Is Blackbeard’s Mother?
Eris is introduced as the mother of Marshal D Teach, aka Blackbeard and the wife of Rocks D Xebec. Even though they all belong to the Davy clan, we have yet to see their real strength or powers.
We know that God Valley had a lot of Davy clan members, as we see in the recent spoilers, that even Xebec’s grandmother and father are turned into demons who are manipulated into fighting the pirates.
The recent spoilers also revealed that Eris has a past as a pirate. We are not sure how Rocks and Eris met, but she is seen as a strong woman who promises Rocks that if she gets caught, she will kill herself and Teach rather than be a slave.
She is also seen making a promise to meet Rocks in Lulusia Kingdom. While we know that they never met and Eris died after this incident, many have theories of why it was Lulusia and how it connects to Ace and even the Revolutionary Army.
