The new design changes that. Disney+ now features a bold, red-branded Marvel hub showcasing its newest releases, including Marvel Zombies, Thunderbolts, and the upcoming Fantastic Four: First Steps. Users can browse the MCU through a visually dynamic carousel that immediately directs attention to its biggest titles.
How Will the Disney+ Interface Look Now?
The revamped interface doesn’t stop with Marvel. Disney+ is introducing brand-focused sections for Star Wars, Pixar, National Geographic, and Walt Disney Studios as well. Each section will display new and trending titles at the forefront, making navigation far easier than the old version’s static tiles.
Outside the U.S., Disney+ is also rebranding its Star content under the Hulu banner, unifying its global streaming identity. Another key feature is the new “For You” tab, a personalized area curating shows and films based on a viewer’s watching habits.
Why Did Disney+ Need to Make This Change?
For years, one major criticism of Disney+ was that, despite owning powerhouse brands like Marvel and Star Wars, the app made it difficult for viewers to discover what was new or important. Once a show or movie rotated off the homepage carousel, it often vanished into the depths of the library.
This overhaul aims to fix that problem. By giving Marvel a spotlighted section, Disney+ ensures fans can easily find the latest additions to the MCU timeline and revisit old favorites without endless scrolling.
Could Marvel Get Its Own Home Page Next?
While Disney hasn’t confirmed it, insiders suggest the redesign could evolve into fully immersive brand home pages. For Marvel, that could mean a central page organized by timeline order, popularity, or upcoming releases, creating a seamless way to navigate the ever-growing MCU.
Right now, the Marvel section on Disney+ is cluttered with dozens of titles, making it unclear which ones connect directly or hold priority. The new layout could make that hierarchy far more obvious — and far more exciting for subscribers.
Disney+’s updated design will officially roll out on October 8, marking a long-awaited step toward giving the MCU the spotlight it’s always deserved.
