Will Smith’s “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” Reunion: Everything We Know

To all Will Smith Fans and mainly, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air fans, here’s some good news.

Reunion:

The cast members are reuniting to do a reunion episode marking 30 years of the series. This September, the hit series celebrates is the 30th anniversary.

The series which gave us Will Smith! We will be eternally grateful for the series for giving us so many memories and make us laugh until now. The series ran from 1990 to 1996 for six seasons.

HBO Max:

Now the cast is joining together to do an unscripted episode for HBO Max. The streaming platform has the entire series and is planning to release the reunion also in the same forum. The series is also available in Prime if you want to sit and laugh your butt off.

HBO Max is going far out to make the audience happy and subscribe to their platform as earlier this year they also announced the long-awaited reunion of the blockbuster hit sitcom F.R.I.E.N.D.S The pandemic has put a halt to the shooting and the rescheduled dates are not yet released.

But it is said that The Fresh Prince cast will start shooting this September from the day of their 30th anniversary. Oh, wait I Forgot it’s already September. The reunion episode is set to be released around thanksgiving according to some sources.

Rest In Peace:

The entire cast is set to join except Uncle Phil (James Avery). He passed away in 2013 due to some complications during open-heart surgery. Aunt Viv, who was played by Janet Hubert for the first three seasons will not be appearing. Still, Daphne Maxwell Reid who replaced her in the last three seasons will make her appearance.

What to expect:

It will be mostly a family get-together episode, Will, trolling his cousin Carlton. We finally get to see what Will made out of his life (in the series), in real life we know how big an icon he is. So it will be mostly dance, fun, singing and crying our eyes out because Uncle Phil will definitely be missed.
