The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles: Capcom Announces International Release!

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is now a reality!

Capcom confirmed the launch in the West of a package that includes two launches that were exclusive to Japan.

It will arrive on PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC through Steam on July 27; and is compatible with the PS5.

This collection will include a copy of The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures and The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve, in which the protagonist is an ancestor of Phoenix Wright, Ryunosuke Naruhodo, as he begins to take his first steps as a lawyer throughout ten different cases that take place a century before the events of the original Phoenix Wright.

As the Japanese firm explains on its official blog, it will be localized to English.

The collection will have complementary elements for lovers of the saga!

In addition to an illustration gallery with commentary from the art director, you will be able to re-watch the series’ animated films, where you will be allowed to choose voices in Japanese or English.

Also added are 8 additional mini-episodes separate from the main plot, two special trial videos, three alternate appearances for the protagonist in the second instalment, and 13 clips taken from Ryunosuke Naruhodo’s Seven Days of Sin.

Although the plot takes us to the past, the mechanics will remain the same as we have to gather enough evidence to allow our protagonist to successfully defend his clients. All this with graphics that have been improved for the occasion to make it look even better.

Even so, those who prefer to focus on the story and nothing else will be able to opt for a game mode that will narrate everything like a visual novel.
