Emilia Clarke Character in Secret Invasion is Accidentally out

MCU Reveals The Genre Of Secret Invasion

Marvel Studios has been secretive about the Secret Invasion series specifics ever since the thrilling teaser for the eagerly anticipated thriller series Secret Invasion was unveiled. The Marvel Comics character that Emilia Clarke will portray in the series Secret Invasion, however, may have been exposed in a recent story.

The identity of Emilia Clarke’s (Game of Thrones) role has been a secret ever since her inclusion in the show was confirmed. Up until this point, we just knew that she was a part of the series. Now, though, it appears that a little file, notably a gif, may have actually disclosed who Clarke is playing.

According to One Take News, the official Secret Invasion page on Tenor released a GIF with Emilia Clarke in it. The GIF displayed the actor saying “It’s the beginning” while wearing black clothing and having short, dark hair.

The image is titled “Its The Beginning Abigail Brand GIF” and was shared by the official Secret Invasion account on Tenor. All indications now point to the Daenerys Targaryen actress portraying that hero, a role that is significantly more significant than that of a chance shape-shifter.

Abigal Brand, who we’ve already met in WandaVision, is the Director of S.W.O.R.D. in the comic books. Although she wasn’t mentioned there, there’s a chance that Secret Invasion will operate as a type of genesis narrative for the character (with her eventually taking charge of the group after helping Nick Fury stop the invaders).

We’d like to believe that Abigail Brand would appear in this program if she were to ever join the MCU. Given her connection to the X-Men, it’s conceivable that the persona may essentially take on the role of the previous Fury, liaising with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes throughout any upcoming cosmic excursions.

At this year’s D23 Expo, the first teaser for Secret Invasion was unveiled, with Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury coming to Earth to look into the Skrulls, a race of shape-shifting aliens that have colonized the earth. Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Martin Freeman as Everett Ross, and Don Cheadle as James Rhodes/War Machine are among the other Marvel Cinematic Universe characters returning for the series. The latter is slated to feature in his own Disney+ MCU drama, Armor Wars.
