The teaser of the much-awaited ‘The Family Man 2’ came out recently, and the fans cannot keep calm! This season does not just consist of Manoj Bajpai in the lead. It will also feature Telugu actress Samantha Akkineni. While the South actress will be making her OTT debut with this series, other actors like Saurabh Hashmi, Shreya Dhanwanthary, and Priyamani will be reprising their roles.

But with the rising censorship in OTT platforms, the show makers decided to delay the release. After Saif Ali Khan starrer Tandav landed in court for ‘hurting’ religious sentiments, the show makers did not wish to take any chances. With Amazon facing harsh criticism for commercially successful shows like Mirzapur and Tandav, the show, which was supposed to stream from February 12, stands postponed.

While there’s no confirmation whether the show has some provocative content, Amazon does not wish to take risks. Since we’re living in sensitive times where even the smallest things can trigger people, they’re moving down with utmost care and attention. As far as Raj and DK are concerned, they don’t wish to make any changes as they believe there’s nothing objectionable in the show. For them, the series is ready to be streamed. Fans are hopeful for the release of this much-loved show.
